Thanks for the video, i learn alot about the camera from your efforts here. With the Hikvision NVR16 there is only Audio exception, face, intrusion, line crossing, region entrance, region exit, unattended baggage and object removal detection - but no auto tracking.

i know this video is old. But If you install some IR floodlights you can turn off the camera IR so you dont get so much flare.

Nice video - I know its a while ago now, but did the bracket have screws (bolts) to connect it to the camera (not the wall screws), and a rubber seal between the mount and the camera? I just got the mount and neither are there.

Geeze mate what a beast of a camera. Shame a lot of the other things you setup cause the lens flare but not much you can do about that. How hard is the computer side of things to setup the camera guessing it’s not as easy as plug and play. Cheers mate hope everything is going well.

The camera works well under low moon light with the IR LEDs turned off, the pole is in a place that is not a problem as that part of the cameras view is of no real interest so I leave the IR LEDs turned on, the guy wires problem can be fixed by mounting the camera higher up the pole above the guy wire ring. The Camera location on this pole is only temporary, I will be setting it up on a higher pole later.
the software has a web page GUI that you can login and change all the setting from a pc , the only thing letting it down is HikVisions GUI has to be used with windows Internet explorer, thats a bit backwards if you ask me, as IE is old school, the GUI will load up on other browsers but the Cameras video steam doesn't load in the preview window, so any changes made to the setting on the other browsers can't be viewed on the preview window... Its madness that Hikvision don't allow any other browser to work on the GUI, and windows is phasing out IE . I hope HikVision address this issue soon.

VK3HAU Very interesting mate I love how it tracks movement very cool. Strange how they only allow IE but if its getting phased out guess that will force their hand to make some changes. Hope the house fire call out was nothing life threatening. Cheers mate take it easy and stay safe out there.

I've got this camera and I can't zoom in 25x without it being a fuzzy mess
