I don't usually comment but I just want to say I really appreciate you not using a filter over your face in your videos, I love seeing texture and that you are normalising it.
When I was younger and watched youtube make up videos, I'd try to replicate the look and get very frustrated that the foundation didn't look 'perfect' because I could still see texture. Thank you for being one of the very few TH-camrs who don't use filters.

For blush I always use the Rare Beauty one, it is so long lasting and once you get the hold onto how much to actually use it, it's amazing

i personally am not a fan of layering on base products from day to night, im not sure if it was your lighting but it looked pretty cakey and heavy. it could also be because of the amount of times you spray the all nighter setting spray- theres just no need to spray it that many times
I have oily skin, which means my base breaks up quite quickly. What I have learned from experience is that thin layers work like magic. They form a barrier, keeping the oil at bay. For example: I like to put setting spray after my moisturizer, just a quick spritz. Then my primer, let it set for a bit and put some powder over it. (Again a light layer). Then corrector/ concealer and then again a spritz of setting spray. After this, I do my base and usually wet my sponge or brush with setting spray also. After my face is fully done, for the very last step, I again spray my face with setting spray. This may seem like overkill, but for me it works wonders in keeping my face matt for as long as possible. And because I work in thin layers, it doesn't look cakey or thick, but skinlike. I agree though that a lot of youtubers really cake it on. However, I believe Kaushal mentioned before that she likes spritzing several times because it makes her makeup last longer.
Thank you for your comment. You don’t have to be a fan of layering products from day to night, I’m simply sharing what works for me. And with regards to lighting, I use natural light and sometimes my Glamcor light when/if it’s dark outside. Natural lighting gives me the chance to show makeup for what it really looks like on skin, unlike other channels and people who use full on studio lighting for their beauty videos - in my opinion, they give a false representation of what makeup looks like in real life. And with regards to the All Nighter setting spray, this trick kept my full face off makeup on my face every event (day, night & day through to night) at my wedding in Mexico over 3 years ago and I swear by this tip for long lasting makeup. Again, if you don’t like my techniques or what I do, that’s totally fine and you’re entitled to feel the way you feel 😊 have a lovely day & weekend, Allison!
I love watching your videos Kaushal. You have a very soothing voice which I love. You dont really force people to subscribe or push to purchase the products which some influencers do. I love your look it is amazing but you are lucky to have such good eye pigment so you can go without eyeshadow and it looks stunning
Quick question - is it normal/common to get new outfits for every wedding or do some people reuse outfits they've already worn? I just imagine the cost and the lack of wardrobe space soon piles up so I'm curious what happens to old outfits etc.

You can buy few and reuse them, like, I wear a dress to my dad's side relative's function, repeat the same dress to my mother's side relative's function then friend's functions and then it ends up as at home festival wear for small festivals :) you can also mix and match the dresses
