What I find frustrating about season 16 is that they always hint at a funny concept but never take it anywhere. The curse episode is the best example, The Gang going on a reality show about improving their bar sounds like a classic episode but instead it becomes about some ridiculous curse idea that is incredibly unfunny and unmemorable. It’s like you’re constantly waiting for the episode to properly start but it never comes
Totally agree. Same with the first one. They spent the first 75% of the episodes setting up their scenes, telling each other about their schemes, fighting about the schemes. And then we finally get to the schemes and they are over in 30-90 seconds, and then they talk about it again. Show, don’t tell! That and they keep reverting to gross-out humour, which I hate.

Denis Mental heatlh episode had me crying..... The stuff in the episode built up to a moment outside his car on the ground was hilarious. And gives incite to Dennis losing his damn mind.
Not a fan of this season. I only found 3 episodes that I actually laughed at..."Gang gets cursed", "Frank vs Russia, and "Dennis takes a mental health day". I think they're taking things too safe as to not get their episodes banned. There was no edge to this season and that's what Sunny is known for. Many episodes didnt even have a climax, they just sort of end with no punchline.
edginess is not what made this show funny. This season is plenty edgy. there are a ton of uncomfortable pedophile jokes and general disturbing shit. None of that is funny. If you want them to parade around in blackface then just say that. don't pretend like blackface and racism is the secret sauce that's been missing from the last few seasons. That stuff wouldn't have saved this season from being unfunny.
For me this is by far their weakest season. They’ve lost their direction and the vast majority of the jokes & even entire episodes just fall flat. I kept waiting for the episodes to get good and before I knew it the season was over :/
The only episodes to me that were any sort if decent was the risky rat, bowling, and Dennis episode.... This season felt like a bunch of throw away shit that they had stock piled over the years. And to be honest I knew something wasnt right when they gave their excuses for why they have decided on eight episodes.... I think they are just fat and happy now, and dont feel the need to try as hard.

I felt like there were a lot of jokes this season that could've been way funnier if they were executed better. it really seems like they're phoning it in because they already have a huge fanbase. Its like they're not watching the scenes after filming them. how do they not see that flat most of these jokes fall flat?
I think this season is by far the worst season I have ever seen. None of the episodes make me laugh or have edgy things in it... All the jokes seem overstretched and boring

i think their lifes are very unrelatable to general public in todays age , I had high hopes
15 and 16 were an improvement on 13 and 14
