Do you have any question about the Fuji X-H2S?
Thank you for this video 🌻
Is it possible to do dual recording knowing that the cards are two different types? And if yes, is it limited to some specific codecs?
Thank you
I love my x-h2s, switched from sony a7IV about 6 months ago, and I am loving it! On the subject of AF, while the Sony is better, it's not that much better tbh.. I don't get why AF gets so much attention, I've used A7III, A7IV, Nikon Z6, XH-2S and I've never felt like the AF was holding me back on any of those cameras.
I think people pay too much attention to this kind of gadget features and are passing on good cameras. Meanwhile lately I only shoot manual…
excellent thank you
02:58 - from my experience, even the latitude in the highlights is amazing! I have been able to pull down many shots in post that looked just straight blown-out and unusable. The F-log2 format really helps in this, it almost feels like editing a raw picture sometimes (but not quite).
I just picked up the X-H2S a few months ago and coming from a SONY FX3 the biggest thing I miss is the touch tracking. According to Fujirumors the Fuji GFX has it, and it will be coming to the XT-5 and X-H2S soon in a firmware update?? Not sure when but it's exciting since I use that feature more than anything for the type of videos I film for clients.
Be careful with Takumar and Helios Lens , some are radioactive... Great video!
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for the video. I'm new to making videos myself, so could you please tell me why tap to track is an important feature, and is there some kind of workaround that we can do with the XH2s to make it work instead? Thanks!
Tap to track is important if you want the focus to stay on a certain point and recompose around it even if it is moving in the scene with other subjects with the same type.
@@ThierryGibralta Thank you for the reply! What I'm wondering is how to do that without tap to track? Is the only way to manually focus, or is there some way you can do it with another autofocus mode and the joystick or something? Thank again for the information, I appreciate it.
Hey man, thank you for the review! I currently have an x-t4 and im thinking about upgrading. Im kinda torn, there has been some Videos showing that the image quality is basically the same or very very close and its just the feature set that differs. I was wondering if thats true? I feel like the xh2s should be a significant upgrade in overall looks.
Not sure if its just a coincidence but if I look for xh2s cinematic videos on youtube, they're alot more high quality than any of the x-t4 videos 😅
It honestly depends on who is using it. The X-H2s has good specs, it depends on the lens and what you are using it for. Personally I am happy with the results it gives for the price!
However you might get better results investing in light, quality lens or other exterior aspects
Personally, I wouldn't upgrade if the X-T4 serves you just fine. But I must say, that upgrading from the X-T3, I noticed an even better color depth and the IBIS helps (and is much better for video than the XT4's IBIS). And F-log2 is definitely much more malleable than the Eterna profile I used to shoot in (I never saw the benefit of F-log in comparison to Eterna with DR400%). I mainly upgraded because my X-T3 needed to be repaired and I couldn't afford renting a camera in the meantime. I could perfectly do all my jobs with the X-T3 still. See the X-H2S as a luxury!
Hi, I’m interested in this camera, even if I may wait for the next iteration to be released, hopefully with a global shutter like the new Sony Alpha 9. Considering your needs, why didn’t you go for the X-H2 instead?
Thanks for watching. I don’t need 8K and would rather have the open gate so the X-H2S was the more logical choice to me.
I can get this camera for £1799 in the UK with a free grip (worth £399!). Pretty insane.
The problem is I’m invested in Nikon now with Z9/Z8, so I don’t really need it, but it can be a great travel camera when I don’t want to take my full frame kit.
That's cheap!
The Viltrox 13mm 1.4 lens is excellent for those wanting a fast wide lens
AGREED - I love mine
The red square is a must!
One can only hope... after more than a year of asking lol
very good.
Thank you 🙏
thanks your vid, I have a question about xh2s autofocus, i always shoot my family especial my kid (7year old), what do you think about the autofocus can keep the pace, I always miss w my xs10.
Thank you for watching!
I don’t think you need the X-H2S for family needs mostly. Something like the XS20 might be better for your needs. Also what lens are you using?
@ThierryGibralta Thank for your reply, I'm currently using Viltrox 27f1.2 pro before this 13, 33.
My kid always moving around not stay still so i usually use burst mode, and w xs10 sometime it slowdown so i think need more buffer like xh2s can. Any advice from you really help me alot.
Take care.
@@ThangSaigon354 if buffering is your issue then maybe something faster will help but have you tried to get faster SD Cards as well?
@@ThierryGibralta thanks for your quick response. I just ưatch review one guy on youtube test many card include v60 v90 and expressTypeB on xh2s, only typeB work really well.
@@ThangSaigon354 CF Express works very well for sure. You won’t have buffering problem but I am just wondering if you can save some money in stead of getting the xh2s for your needs
v6 update ;)
main flaws are Af-C , IBIS and low ISO
What x mount lenses do you recommend for video? I picked up an X-S20 as a baby X-H2S to complement my X-T5.
For native lens I think one of the most versatile is the 18mmf1.4
For Zoom lenses, the 10-24 is also a great one with extra stabilization
@@ThierryGibralta Merci!
