Seeing MySims was such an nostalgic trip for me. I didn’t have the Taco Bell version, but I had the original PC release. I played that almost every day.
I can't believe you covered the floppy disk Taco Bell games. I thought it was too obscure for anyone to know about it. I had the bean game. Btw, your videos are so tasty.
I remember when we used to get video games in cereal boxes as well and really good ones to like tony hawks pro skater for 1 and matt hoff man bmx and Timon and pumba pinball lol
McDonald’s has a lot more games online, MMOs, disc games like these, web games etc. Used to really love the McDonald’s MMO online, would love to see a video on them.
This reminds me of the cereal games(mostly demo games but still) and I specifically remember Desperados, Lucky Luke, Astrix and Obelix and another game which was about a kid whose dog was kidnapped and then he went to another planet with these aliens who would literally eat and or shred him apart if they got him.. very graphic lol.
I watched the SpongeBob vid and loved it, but this vid gives me a certain kind of feeling. I miss this age of marketing and video games because it didn’t feel so corporate, as in trying to capitalize as much as possible. Obviously most of the games have themes of their respective restaurants, and are trying to please a younger audience and make life long customers, but it doesn’t feel malicious. Maybe it’s because of the recent rise in social media and technology, so every company is really fighting for attention. Anyway, I’m not gonna rant anymore. Loved the vid man ❤
something you maybe could cover one day are the mcdonalds dragons and fairies games i vivibly remember those comming in plastic cd cases that cracked open like eggs ? those were pretty cool never seen anything about those in years
I'm so happy you mentioned the hand-held Sonic games from McDonald's. I swear I've been gaslighting myself for years because no one I've talked to about them seem to know what I'm talking about. I was like, "No. I KNOW I had these. Specifically the Sonic and Tails one." I feel so validated now 😂
Hidden gem of a video honestly. Wouldn't be surprised if your channel blew up in a few years (Think I already said something like this on the Minecraft tutorial world video, but I may be wrong.)
the reader rabbit game actually has a full series dedicated to different ages/education levels! i know three of them at least (apparently there's more) and they were so fun to play when i was a kid. honestly i could legit play them again
Interesting stuff 👍 I don't think we had these promotions in the UK, though Wendy's, Tacobell & Chick Fil A weren't in my region in the 90s. At McDonalds we had tiny, two-button SEGA consoles with Sonic & Super Monkey Ball themed games. They were fun for kids
My most memorable one, and probably the only one is the one i got from a Nesquik Cereal back in the day, a game called Tachyon The Fringe (though in my case it was half-assedly heavily localized by a company called 1C(if you know you know) and named "Cruel Stars" instead). Then after a couple decades or so finally bought it on steam and re-experienced it with the original legendary voice acting by Bruce Campbell(The guy voice the protagonist of the game, some people probably heard him as the tutorial narrator in some old games such as Spider Man series). It wasn't a demo disc or anything, mind you, a full game.
13:12 This is the only thing I remembered in the UK. And Star Wars toys from Burger King. I did like how Yoda flips backwards though. Then there was CDs games in cereals, I can only recall Lucky Luke from Corn flakes I think.
I got the Taco Bell My sims game when I was a kid. My family didn't own a computer. . I got this game in 3rd grade and was only able to play it in 6th grade. At any point I could have accidentally missplaced or broke it, but I held on to it because it I knew I'd one day get a chance. And it was cool pretty cool. Miss it.
I remember in 2004 Hardee's and Carls Jr. giving out Monte Cristo pc games, I had Dino Island and Micro Commandos , and my sister got Airline Tycoon. You forget those.
Before Taco Bell discontinued their Kids Meals they gave out 4 Different Atari Arcade Games on CD. I got 3 of them as I only couldn't find Lunar Lander myself.
The one I remember liking was Taco Bell's Atari Asteroids CD-ROM. It was cool getting a new port of a classic arcade game from Taco Bell of all places.
i vividly remember this 3D robot one where u run around a map w a few buildings and each building has different stuff and mini games. i dont remember much about it besides a big hill u could go up and ive been trying to find this for SO. LONG.
I remember having a treasure planet McDonald's game and the taco bell golf game. What I really want to get my hands on is the Japanese McDonald's PS2 disc with demos for parappa 2 and piposaru 2001 (a Japanese exclusive ape escape game)
Omg, this is nostalgic... I remember getting atari disk in my taco bell meals, I had "my sims" "moonlander" "centipede" and I can't remember the last one I got 😅
Another day another banger by evil globert

Tacobell feels like a DOOM kids version😊
That award would have to go to Chex Quest

Random games in fast food resturants cereal boxes and magazines was the coolest shit ever
I remember getting a mini disc version of Arthur’s Camping Adventure from a Wendy’s kids meal back in the mid-2000’s.
Seeing MySims was such an nostalgic trip for me. I didn’t have the Taco Bell version, but I had the original PC release. I played that almost every day.

Taco Bell Doom:
I can't believe you covered the floppy disk Taco Bell games. I thought it was too obscure for anyone to know about it. I had the bean game.

Same, I was full after I watched it, it was delicious.
I had the Lizzie McGuire game from McDonalds 😭😭
I remember when we used to get video games in cereal boxes as well and really good ones to like tony hawks pro skater for 1 and matt hoff man bmx and Timon and pumba pinball lol

My brother and I would spend hours playing the burger king pocket bike racer and we never got bored of it
13:40 I loved the shadow game. I played it for hours & almost everyday took it with me every where I went.
McDonald’s has a lot more games online, MMOs, disc games like these, web games etc. Used to really love the McDonald’s MMO online, would love to see a video on them.
2:42 Mr. Kitty from South Park
The real hidden gem was the memories you recovered and nostalgia

It’s not a game but I also remember McDonald’s giving out Kidz Bop CDs in their Happy Meals
Same with Lizzie McGuire (Disney).
Ahhhh it was called kids bop now I remember ya I remember getting those long time ago

i actually did play that one! i didn't include it in the video though... sorry😭
I had the one with the ice dragon, i loved it
I still have all the Sonic handheld games. As a kid, it was incredible to collect (batteries are dead now tho)
They used to put games in cereal boxes too. There was a captain crunch game I used to play all the time 😂

Memory unlocked. Playing those McDonald sonic games as a kid was crazy fun
I was born in 1990, and never do I ever remember getting a video game in any of my kids meals!
Hidden gem of a video honestly. Wouldn't be surprised if your channel blew up in a few years (Think I already said something like this on the Minecraft tutorial world video, but I may be wrong.)

I actually used to play the burger king racing one at my friend's often when I was young lol it was a banger and definitely started some fights😅
Petz 2 for the Wii mentioned. Two hour and seventeen minute long video essay on the game is now required as a follow-up on this.
Want me to play it for an upcoming video? “Playing My Viewers’ Favorite Childhood Games”
