This update doesn’t seem definitive as an end. The game started on drizzle season so I think it’ll end on drizzle season.
I think maybe the logos of the idols on the bag of the jelly in the post credit scene are teasing summer fest(we had the deep cut one for the anniversary fest)
We should get 1 more season - hope they do a splatoon 2.0 like animal crossing 2.0(they got the same devs)

btw idolfest is real!! the jelly has all the idols things sooooo... also I think teams will be shiv (deep cut) frye (off the hook) and big man (squid sisters) big man and shiver are obvious but frye could secretly like off the hook maybe cuz ik she does not like pearl. ian bgm is big man obvi and shiv is just common sense.

I'm so excited for this update, but it starts the day I leave for Japan. I'll have to play it when I land.
I had a theory about the last part of the trailer.
The Jelly is wearing the splatfest wristbands and carrying a bag with deep cuts fan. On the bag you can see a squid sisters pin and what I'm assuming is off the hooks.
I have a feeling the final splatfest will have something to do with which idols do you like most.

The new Splatana’s name is a pun on “decapitator” and “cavity” because it’s a sword that can cut off heads and a toothbrush that stops cavities

I'm glad this isn't the final update because it means that it's much more likely that the special splatfest data miners found is a summer fest rather than the final splatfest.

Look at the symbols on the bag of the Jelly and the fan. I’m 99 percent sure that shows the three different idol groups. Maybe that’s hinting a splatfest with them as the choices.

Honestly the new stage name was VERY Clever by nintendo:
Lemuria is actually the biblical name for a continent (Believed only by certain groups) that was believed to have been sunken beneath the pacific. this continent however, was additionally believed to be the origin continent of Humans themselves.

I never expected Splatoon of all series to have so many biblical references, but they’re getting deeper and deeper.
The ending teaser was likely for the Final Fest theme, note the pins & stickers.
The maps spawn reminds me of saltspray rig also I think hydra got screen.

I'm pretty sure that the jellyfish at the end of the trailer is hinting at the final fest. If you look closely, the fan has deep cut's logo and the bag has both the squid sister's and off the hook's logo as stickers.
In a copium coated thought, this _could_ also tease a potential dlc? But that's highly unlikely.

I really hope they make Gold Scales easy for this update or BIG Big Run…or at least triple the scales or chances when fighting the 3 bosses.

Just as I predicted, if this is the last big run, the stages will probably be selected at random. I don't know how the hell were supposed to defeat 3 kings at once. Unless they have reduced health or they each share the health bar, I don't see this being possible.
No returning stages from Splatoon 1 and 2?
i just really hope that jellyfish isn't a teaser for final fest. i love the squid sisters with all my heart and i don't want to lose another idolfest. i don't want there to be any more fighting. i just want to enjoy my favorite characters and that's all.
Just remember that no matter who wins this fest. Splatoon 4 will be the best they can make it.
@@BigPro1123 i know. i'm just scared if the squid sisters lose, they won't be in the game. and they're characters that mean alot to me, characters that helped me discover who i want to be and what i want to do later in life, so it would make me really upset.

Just saying but...no it's not. The Splatana and Stringer don't have second kits yet which means 1 more season minimum. My bet is on a Concert based on the jelly. Or DLC. I don't think it's going to be FinalFest. Not yet at least

Not to mention they have NEVER added New weapons and their second kits OR have added weapons in mid season patches. So why start now just before the games second year anniversary. Y'know...when the updates were promised to be "AT LEAST 2 years"? That's not what AT LEAST means. It means 2 years minimum. Not 1 year and 9 months

#SplatChannel, I'm hoping for the Second year anniversary of Splatoon 3 and a new DLC for the game. We need to see more story to Deep Cut. I was also hoping for the Reef, Sanpper Canal, or Camp Trigger Fish. #Splatgangs.

This is amazing the new stage really looks awesome I'm pretty sure they are trying to point out another shrimpson-tour 4:35 with the the jelly
I feel like it’d make sense for the two final stages added to the game to be the main stages from Splat 1 and 2. They already teased in the last shot of the trailer that the Finalfest will most likely revolve around the games idols, so I don’t feel like it’d be too much of a stretch to say that Urchin, and The Reef will be our final two stages.
But this is Nintendo so……
The Reef is the best map in the series, if they don’t bring it back I will be a VERY unhappy camper.
I think the king salmonid trio would make the timer be 300 seconds instead of 100

Guys, I think the jellyfish was a teaser for a concert with all the idols. It was holding merch that they gave out in the Nintendo live concerts for each of the idols.
Also idolfest would not be near as cool as chaos vs order and I’m sure they don’t want to go from that to something more boring

For the king salmon's there was 1st Salmon Godzilla then there was a salmon dragon and now we have salmon megladon plus there is a big big run coming but i wish we could have 1 more king salmon in their maybe we could get salmon king Kong.
Plus for salmon run we need 3 or 4 new boss salmon and 1 more salmon run stage from splatoon 2.

Am I tripin or are there two versiins of the wellstring V shown. In the pop up animation when we learn the name it has the custom brand and has gold tips with a greenish culor for the base while in game it has silver tips and a blueish culor... They better not just give us both kits and call it a day.
