I have both. I have a 97 na Miata and a 03 350z. Personally I prefer driving my Miata. It feels tighter and more simple to control. The z is a large heavy car in comparison. I prefer my z on long sweeping curves rather than sharper back roads. Though, I prefer the styling of the z. I think they were way ahead of there time when they came out and I always thought they were so cool as a kid. But the Miata has more of a soul when driving than my z. Also my Miata has been more reliable for me
@@hendersonli6594 nah I’d say that the car isn’t fast really anyways so it doesn’t make much of a difference I mean it’s faster than the Miata but it’s also much bigger and u can definitely feel the weight in turns.
They’re both great cars! I’ve never actually had the opportunity to drive a 3 series, but I’ve heard so many good things! I appreciate you tuning in my friend🙏🏼
They are both awesome, and they'll both hold their value! Can't go wrong with either in my opinion🙏 If you plan on hitting canyons often, then I'd say Miata! The Z performs just fine on windy roads, but in the Miata you'll really feel like you're in a go-kart and can take corners at higher speeds. If you plan on freeway driving a lot, the Miata gets pretty loud and warm inside from the convertible top, and that's where I feel the Z is a bit better in that situation. Cabin stays cool, good stereo system, power to pass people if needed, etc... I'd try and test drive the two if you can, ten just pick what you like best! I appreciate you tuning in🙏
So I just got myself a HR 2008 with 80k miles it says on the title it’s the Nismo trim which I’m confused on what the difference is as I am barley getting into 350z I’m in love with her clean title and all no modifications what so ever as for gas what’s the best mpg for these cars if so how do you achieve them? I wanna do so much to this car and capture it for TH-cam I wanna start already!
Hey, nice!! Congrats on the Z🙌 could totally be a Nismo if it’s an 08! You’ll know because it’ll have a different front/rear bumper! As far as MPG’s, it’s not too bad if you accelerate moderately and shift around 3,000-3,500rpm! I actually made a video a while back about the proper shift times/speeds for mpgs, highly recommend checking it out! Thanks for tuning in man🙌
there might not be any left in 20 years after the NASA track people get their hands on all of them. lol. at the NASA championships last month at Daytona there were seventy spec miatas in a single race!
A lot of this video talks about how their weight differences play a big role in their driving experience. It’s true one is 15 years newer, but their both enthusiast cars that I personally would be looking at buying so I figured it would be helpful to make the comparison🙏🏼 thanks for tuning in man🙌
@@JohnnyB. I love both cars. My son had a 92 Miata. Loved it but not so fast. Neither is the 350. Not trying to be harsh on you. I just know a lot about cars. 😘
The Miata is quite slow haha but definitely not the slowest! Plus, once you’re on the twistys, that’s where it really feels fast! Thanks for tuning🙏🏼☺️
First of all, your comparing a 15 year older Miata to a 350Z, why not compare same year models? Secondly, who cares what you think, your just a kid with little experience of driving different cars.
You’re right the Z is 15 years older lol but they’re in the same price bracket right now and they’re both enthusiast cars. Maybe I should have compared the 350z to a mustang or something😂 thanks for tuning in and watching the video, I really appreciate you!🙏🏼

Interesting take! The power of the Z doesn’t make up for the weight I guess?

Naw but the z is really clean and always see it around town in murrieta/Temecula
I appreciate that haha you gotta say what’s up next time!!🙌
How does this guy not have 1 mill 😂
Thank you bro🥺🙌
How you gonna compare a NA Miata against a car with a computer. #fail.

Will definitely put a body kit on it
yes!!!🙌
I can’t wait to boost my Miata and fly by miata haters lol
You and me both!! I appreciate your comment Edgar!
My 2 cents I test drove a 1995 miata it was very slow

Your poorly re-painted Miata is not a collectors item.
Just wait, I’ve got big plans🙏🏼 appreciate you tuning in!
