Someone's beautiful explanation does not hold any weight. She or he is not the authority of the religion. Different people can come up with different intetpretation. What matter is what the scriptures say or define it.
The phrase 'Sanatana dharma' does not appear in any of the Vedas nor Upanishads. It appears in Mahabharata, though not in a direct sense, but through "Varnashrama dharma (caste) in dharma shastra or stree dharma and, most importantly, raj dharma".

There is definitely something called Sanatan dharma, but it's not a caste, like a buddhist or Hindu or Muslim, as it is perceived today. Dharma means doing kartavya, selfiessly and with detachment, that is being निर्हकार, निर्मम, and निस्वार्थ while doing our kartavya, our duty. And when we do our kartavya in this way, our mind remains crystal clear and then we start seeing the reality as it is! That each n every person, each n every thing, be it a single blade of grass, has originated from that one tattva only! And then our भाव or feelings becomes pure, because we can only experience the result of our own feelings, nothing from outside can change that. For eg. before a murti of a deity is carved does anyone join hands in front of it? No, right! But once d same stone takes d form n shape of Lord Sri Ram or Sri Krishna or Devi, we bow down in front of it with all devotion! The outer material did not change, but our feelings for it changed.
And so when we do our kartavya truthfully and selflessly, our feelings or bhaav becomes pure and we are to see clearly, in the reflection of that tattva!

Human life, unlike animal life, is an ideological flow. Where there is no ideological flow, in that case, even if the physical structure is just like a man, he is not a man, but is an animal. I am a Bengali Hindu and find that Bengali Hinduism is somewhat different from Sanatan Dharma which is prevalent in North India. In this way the language and religion differs from state to state within India.

Sanadhana Dharma is the concept of omnipotent, omnipresent, all powerful and formless Brahman or Paramatma revealed in Vedhas in ancient India. It's the universal truth for religions that came after, be it Judaism, Christianity or Islam. However, the followers of these religions have deviated from the original concept and created dogma and doctrine different from Sanadhana Dharma. Quran is the latest revelation that is by far not corrupted or changed.
I humbly request the author of this video and its subscribers to read Quran and reconcile with the similarities of Sanadhana Dharma in Quran.
Sadly, Siddantham that most Hindus now follow has deviated so much from Sanadhana Dharma that almost 99% of them don't correctly correlate their God or deity to a Paramātman described in Vedhas. The concept of Paramātman is beautifully described as Thouheed or oneness in Quran

Depending on the period and civilization Vedha has more intricate, complex and abstract information on the realities of our life and salvation.
