  • Bob Boross demonstrates his "Riff with a Brush" step in tap dance class technique. This move combines the two count riff with a toe brush that continues to the outstretched foot. It's a fun bit of footwork that can be of use in many tap dance choreographies. It's also a great skill builder for your feet.

This is a fun one! Thanks, Bob. I've been trying to work on your combinations wearing Ballroom dance practice shoes, which have a suede sole, so I couldn't hear if I was getting the rhythm correct. Now that we are all under "quarantine" I had the time to pull my 46-year-old Capezios out of mothballs... let's see how they hold up...

I know, Kathleen, I'm busy now making on line classes for my cancelled classes with the universities. Good luck with your old shoes - I have a real tricky one set for release on Wednesday - look for it!
