Yes! Finally a review on this! This is my most complimented as of late. The response i received from females was either it smells good or sexy and all was unsolicited. I worn this in the summer and it didnt feel overwhelming, so i think it is pretty much versatile season wise imo! Thanks for shedding light on this gem.
My second favourite from the brand(and third best purchase in the last 10 years, yes that's how good this thing is) and a highly highly underrated fragrance! It took me some time to warm up to it and not until i got a sample and wore it for a day did I realize how insanely good this is. I've tried virtually all bonds and have 5 in my very carefully selected collection. In two words, Ambroxan galore! However not in the slightest bit synthetic and even though I am not generally a fan of resins or incense this thing strikes the right balance with both. I guess it was the heavy focus on ambroxan that made it feel underwhelming on paper but on skin it comes alive and produces that rich creamy fresh and semi sweet accord we all love which along with everything else makes for a stunner of a fragrance.
Nice to meet another fan girl *shriek* This brand has a lot of good offerings but they do have way too many releases making some of the great ones lost in the shuffle.
Received Governor Island today. Its very resin incensey in the opening but turns very musky and woody in the dry down. Not mass appealing like other bond no 9. Kinda perfect fall winter special events fragrance.
I think people hate this brand just because they are pricey and there are too many scents and come out too quick but that’s what excites me and they all smell great some better than other FYI I have at least 20 bottles 😂
I have 18 bottles from this brand alone. I do like the brand but their retail price is just insane. Even on some of the online discounters they can be a little too pricey.

When you have a mortgage and multiple charities to take care of, you tend to not have a super large collection especially of niche or higher end designers. By far, this is the MOST underrated fragrance from Bond! If you like New York Oud, you will really like Governor's Island.
I didn't like the NY Oud but this one I loved.

I ordered this a few days ago. I have scent of peace and Hamptons so I’m expecting to love this one as well

This is a great unique fragrance. I don’t know why but I always think of Smokey Chocolate when I wear it.

It’s because they don’t make ANYTHING that’s unique and use synthetics in everything. That’s why discounters you can find them for literally $105-$200
