Nine didn’t produce but he wrote some lyrics! He didn’t want to change too much cause he thought what haeil wrote was too beautiful!

But this was just so good. Honestly the best way to end the project. It was so honest and straightforward. The song had all the elements i love about onlyoneof and it was just so JDHDJHEHH. It was the most straight forward story they've released so far and it was so pleasant. I think one of my favorite things abt their dynamic is that both characters are so sure of their feelings despite all the violence. They agreed to meet up and mill stayed waiting despite it getting dark cause he was sure nine would show up and nine literally got jumped yet his first priority was getting to mill and making sure he didn't stand him up and in the end they cared for each other and nine finally got that kiss he wished for. It's so heart warming. Not to mention the lyrics directly calling back to savanna. Just reaffirming they've really been about this since day 1. Which as a lesbian lyon who's been here since debut is so special.
Also the parallels to begin and this showing the next generation and how change is coming slowly but surely God i love them

one thing about the kiss scene that my mutuals put my attention to: the very last shot might be after they pulled away because of the position their noses are, mill’s is above nine’s. for all i know, mill also leaned in!
oh and wookjin said he was trying to kiss him but apparently yongsoo pursed his lips tightly. “i was busy searching his lips” i swear to god wook😭

I think the best thing about the Entire beat beyOnd arc is that both of them push through despite everything, cause that kiss is what is like a victory in a way, like without the kiss the story would be like "how violence can separate such lovers " but with the kiss it's like a victory! A hurra! Like even after everything, no matter what the world throws at them , they will be together!!!
Also did you guys notice! No cranes here! In a interview, Sungho (Rie) has said that everything in the mv is symbolising something,
So i think that the cranes represent patience , cause in begin Yoojung was patient for Kyubin and in because JunJi threw the box of cranes away meaning he no longer has patience for sungho
So the absence of cranes means they don't need Patience, cause both are open to each other .
Also Yongsoo's glasses, he seems to wear it in school but never in private moments so that's like yongsoo's cold mask? That he uses to protect himself? Cause even the lyrics reference a frozen heart . So i think that's cool
The last thing is the phone booth , how both of them were outside the phonebooth!
While Kyujung took refuge In the phonebooth (hiding away from the world)
JunJi was outside but Rie was inside in be mine , but by Because he was outside the Phonebooth too! But it was too late ...cause yeah break up.
The best part is while Wook was completely outside throughout, seeing wookie get beaten up, he didn't spare a single thought before stepping out so 🥺🥺🥺🥺

they have created such a safe and beautiful space for us. even if i weren’t a lyOn i’d appreciate and respect it endlessly! they are all so sweet and talented and funny and make such amazing music! they are so passionate about telling these stories. I love OnlyOneOf so much and I am so emotional right now!
*THEORY TIME:*
Remember when Nine came in the classroom and smiled and waved to Mill? Notice his clothes. He wears a yellow shirt. And cut to the bridge section in Beat, where Mill is being bullied by that group. You will see that they catch him when he's ENTERING the school, ie the classes haven't begun. And then Nine comes and saves him. Here he's wearing the same yellow shirt! We see a shot when Nine and Mill's eyes lock for a minute, and it's almost like a visual conversation which conveys "Don't worry, I'm here for you" and then they run. And later when Nine notices that he and Mill are classmates, he waves to say hello! And then later Mill gives Nine a lollipop and they become close!
Also in this mv, initially Mill runs away with the drawings, he's too shy to let Nine know. But later in the mv, Nine and Mill are so happy when Nine is watching his sketches (those papers Nine holds are sketches from 1:58 to 2:09 ) and in Beat, Mill proudly shows Nine his portrait he drew, indicating that Nine has officially gained Mill's trust!

UGH I WAS WAITING FOR THIS REACTION BECAUSE NINE HAD NO RIGHT TO EAT THIS HARD ON HIS SOLO LIKE THE PRODUCTION WAS TOUCHED HEAVENLY
Aside from how much I loved OnlyOneOf for representing me and my community in such a beautiful and respectful way I also loved how they did it with 6 phenomenal songs (which makes me even sadder about Love because we could've had a 7th with his beautiful voice but I'll move on eventually... in like 80 years), they just keep proving they have on of THE BEST discographies in the industry, and for all of the people who keep complaining about certain styles of songs nowadays like they're being paid to do it they should stop screaming and crying and just listen to OOO already because it's driving me crazy how underappreciated these guys are, they deserve to be at the top and everyone with good taste knows this.
I've raved about this to another reactor and probably commented this on one of your reactions before (sorry if I did lol) but I just absolutely adore how they used the phone booth to connect all universes and each couple in a deeper way, the phone booth is the only recurring object in every MV (still wondering why the paper cranes didn't appear on Mill's and Nine's MVs but I digress) and while it's very cliché to use a phone to represent connection I find it so interesting because aside from it linking each storyline it's also right where each couple experiences a very important and life-changing event in their relationship that pushes them closer to one another: KB drunkenly falling into Yoojung's arms, Junji running to flirt with Rie and I think later cheering up Rie after a bad phone call, and hurt Nine meeting Mill, who was probably waiting for him.
And the rainbow lights they kept putting in the phone booth did not go unnoticed and I am convinced that was on purpose as silly as it is to use rainbows to mean gay lol
that is the perfect way to close the underground idol project.. nine is genious with that bop!!!

It doesn't get better than Onlyoneof. They truly do it for the art. I'm so happy that I discovered them, they are part of my life soundtrack lol. Nine it's brilliant and you can really tell he cares about his craft. And lastly I have to say that I'm kinda sad because they are not coming to Chile in the South American part of their tour 🥺.

lol, here is my comment with a time stamp. Besides the phone booth, the rainbow light has been another common element in the "be" MVs. For "beyOnd", it appears specifically during the birthday cake scene: 2:29 the background light forms a cross with rainbow light projection on the wall then 2:30 the lyrics said "god bless" 2:36 and 2:48, the candle/match light forms a cross with rainbow glares. There is definitely some symbolism here. Since religion has always been a theme in OOO's work (very obvious in sage), I am wondering how they will approach it in their future works.

I absolutely adore this whole project. Each little story was beautifully done, and each MV was so gorgeous. The lighting, the videography, the sets, the acting, everything. I love that each song is different enough that we all might have our own favourite of the six (I love them all but I'm a music sponge who ends up loving everything), and also that each song is so well suited to each member and really shows their individuality. And in the same way each story shows different relationships, at different stages of life or at different stages of the relationships themselves, and each of us can probably empathize and connect with different aspects of them.
I'm sad they've finished this project, but I know they're not finished creating beautiful MVs and stories like this. The type of stuff that they are putting into the world is so important and so wonderful and everyone involved deserves so much praise. Like on a surface level their work is beautiful, solid bops, gorgeous to look at. But when you actually sit and think about the industry they're in, the bias gross people have against stories like these being told, how they could so easily release less controversial stuff... but they are actively choosing to tell these stories... I just feel so soft and warm inside.

I`m from Ukraine, and as many people know 2022 eas a challenging year for my country but I have been listening to OOO for the past 6 months and their music really helped me not to go insane. I love that their music is so different from others yet unique, I love their relationships in the group, and I love how confident and respectful they are no matter how hard to represent this type of point in kpop, In Korea.
I love how after libidO they didn`t give up but made Skinz who represents all these people who didn't understand the message, I love how hard they work and I`m so sorry that they are so underrated
