Jegan, nice strategy if the price moves in a range. But if the stock goes trending or goes volatile, making adjustment would be difficult for novice traders (sometimes for experienced ones also), and even the adjustment can go wrong.
I have checked all nifty 50 stock's IVP in Sensibull and none of them have IVP > 50 for September expiry, only Shreecement - 43 , SBILIFE - 40 IVP values. However, found few nifty 50 stocks which have IVP > 50 for Aug expiry which is tomorrow but won't be considered. Am I correct? Please suggest what to do in this situation. Should I enter Shreecement tomorrow for September expiry or is there any other criteria we should look on?
Sir one more thing I observed that short strangle and straddle both gives the same range when we use shot straddle at ATM and short strangle at slightly OTM ... plzz let us know your suggestion ... short straddle or strangle ... pros and cons...
To achieve more profit consistently we must have two lots cost money as margin .. then we can perform cash secured put and cover call with not having risk of so much adjustments .. simply it requires one or two .. for new traders... coz we may not perform adjustments well in the early stage... sir correct me if thought is wrong..... sir however you ready to adjustments then y don’t you go for short straddle than strangle
Mr.Jegan your presentation is very elegant, cogent,& easily understandable. My only suggestion would be your modulation of voice in the sense that while ending the sentence you tend to mellow down gulping some of the last word which usually would be a contra word of comparison. For example: stock option is better because stock option profit is higher and the index option is (modulation of mellowing down starts here)less profitable. Pls do not think of pointing out as this correction would make your speeches more penetrative. Thank you and keep continuing your good work of wonderful analysis of option writing which once thot to be out of reach of commoners where only pundits prod upon. Sir I observed in calculation that when we short ... they lock maximum capital but if I buy far OTM options with negligible price .. they block lesser amount than what they blocked previously .. correct me if I am wrong .. coz I am learner.. thanq sir

Trading is nothing but emotional play. On paper trading your winning strike would be more than 90%, but reality is different. This is my personal experience. Stock options involves lot of risk and not as easy as shown in video. Unless you have huge capital, don't think of selling stock options. If your trade goes wrong, as he mentioned u have to take delivery, for example if you trade in Reliance, you should have 11Lakhs to yake delivery, else ready to accept huge loss.

I am thinking this strategy for one month before you told... but small doubt... as you said market is at 2000 for some stock... and think that we sold CE and PE with premium of 1.25% of spot... up to this clear ... now market movies up no bother... but moves down .. we can mange options but... how to overcome loss in holding shares of stock....? We get premium as rent but loss in share value.... ofcourse premium compensates the loss... if premium compensates the loss .. there wouldn’t be the rental income.... ...

What is the logic of entering precisely 35 days before?
Better liquidity. 35 days as in 5 weeks before expiry and exit 7 days ie 1 week before expiry. So its a one month hedge
