Sure! Though the handling is a bit more different because you're rotating the wheel to zoom instead of a precise joystick maneuver with speed control. In other words the zoom speed is in your hands instead of a servo motor. Nucleus M has it for example. The zoom speed control gives you the opportunity to make extremely smooth zooms.
@@chicomiguel Good to know! I'd like to see how responsive and precise it is for zooming, but I can't find a video about it anywhere online. Can it handle fast or crash zooms as well, or is it better suited for smooth zooms?
I haven't used it with a zoom lenses yet. I could try it out with my Tamron zoom and make a video. What kind of other aspects (including what you mentioned above) you would like to see in the test?
@@chicomiguel That's about it, how responsive/precise it is for zooming and if it can handle fast/crash zoom. I'm looking for an affordable way to zoom without having to touch the lens.
is it possible to use for zoom instead? I have a zoom lens, and I would like to zoom in and out using this motor.
