They edited out my comment that most all immigrants to the USA had their names Anglo phonically modified: Italians, Portuguese, Irish, Eastern Europeans, Nordic people, South Americans all and more had their names made English by immigration officials involuntarily, AND some realized an advantage to assimilate and may have adapted their names, although no one actually knows anyone who voluntarily converted without fear of being tossed out of the country. It’s typically misleading to measure past events by any modern social metric, and it’s an inadvertent perpetuation of the plantation mentality to sow seeds of divisive thought in uneducated minds. America has the best in the world miseducation of its people. More Americans have more to say with more disinformation than just about anyone anywhere in the world.
