Do you really think it's the tax incentives that will bring people to Old Tucson (Studios)? No, you're wrong. Management at Old Tucson Company is short sighted and only interested in the bottom dollar. The significance of Old Tucson (Studios) is NOT "Western History" It was a set from the very beginning and it will always BE a set. What people WANT to see are the sets from their favorite western Films: Rio Bravo; Three Amigos etc. But they do not want to spend the money to rebuild those sets...
Absolutely. there is no vision in management at old Tucson studios anymore there is a lot of empty real estate out there, a lot of land that could be utilized with new sets. They should have rebuilt the town the way it was before it burned down. I don't think you'll see any change anytime soon, or until Pima county takes it over, or they get a new lease signed from somebody else because the Diamonds are not doing a very good job at all.
@@saiyongdawn7756 Short answer is yes. Unless those particular builings happen to be from the Movie Rio Bravo. 3 of those buildings technically still exist. The fire did not effect the front gate so all of those are still authentic but as soon as you pass the "Mclintock Genral Store" bulding on the right and the Stucco white arch building on the left you're done. Everything else was erected after the fire and was built to be necessary basic amenities for a theme park such as drinks, museum, food, stunt show...High chaparrel was far away from the blaze so that is still there and the Reno was cosmetically repaired but it essentially melted from the inside out...

The Rio Bravo hotel was one of the legendary sets that burned down in the disastrous fire.
