My father got one of those too! He was tired of asking me what I did with his pencil....he told me once that if I ever got lost I could just follow my trail of pencils home.😊
I put my pencil under the corner of my cap too but I slide the eraser end under my cap and I do it for two reasons. I don't have to worry about marking myself and my cap with lead or sticking myself with the sharp pointy end of the pencil and when you reach up to grab the pencil it's already pointed in the right direction in your hand. If you tuck the lead end of the pencil under your cap then you have to turn the pencil around in your hand to use it after you pull it out.
Sort of off topic but I NEVER lose my readers since getting Clic glasses. It's the one that has a magnet on the nose part. Pretty expensive but worth a hundred of the dollar store ones that woo, marry, and run off with half your socks.
I've had a couple pairs and they have decent lenses but in some situations where you couldn't free both hands to put them on they were difficult so I went back to prescription standards on a string.
Yes, I hate when I put down my pencil without thinking and poof it’s gone, my wife must have used it, that’s my first thought when I cant find one of my tools.
what do you do when you get lead poisoning when the end of your pencil goes through your skin using the pencil pro? or when you stick in your head? Just being an antagonist. LOL.
Ridiculous, ever heard/seen a pencil clip. Holds it in your shirt pocket. You learn to draw it like a sword. First tool of civilization, everybody should have one
DITCH THE TOOL BELT AND REPLACE WITH AN EXPLORER'S VEST. COOL. LIGHT. NOTHING TO PULL YOU OR YOUR PANTS DOWN AND THEY SLIP ON IN 2 SECONDS! PLUS, THEY HAVE A BUILT-IN LOOP FOR HANGING AFTER USE!

Love your ideas and vids HK!
Yes, the tool belt is very uncomfortable now 😵
Been putting mine behind my ear for 40 years.
I'm 73 and must have spent months looking for my pencil. This must be one of the most frustrating things ever.

I've seen those and wondered if they were a legitimate idea. Thanks for the mention and recommendation. 👍

The solution is multiple pencils in areas of work. Tape measures falls into this too

Luckily pencils are not actually made with lead, but of graphite and clay.
Pencil pro, I’ll have to look into that, I don’t always wear a hat
That’s me, I’m not a “good listener”. Ha ha
