I LOVE stock Android. I've had almost every Google phone ever made. I didn't upgrade from my Pixel 3xl to the Pixel 4 Xl as I didn't like that Google did away with the fingerprint scanner in exchange for face recognition. Just didn't seem to be worth the upgrade. Plus, Google doesn't give you much for trading in their phones when compared to trading in an Apple. Verizon is me $250.00 for my Pixel 3xl towards this Motorola. So I'm going to jump ship. Hoping it's a smart move and I can live with it. I purchased the Samsung Note 10 but sold it after 3 months because of the bloatware. Couldn't stand it.
Clous von they had to cause the latest snapdragon SoCs have the X55 Modem which takes up a lot of space, so they can’t add the large pop up mechanism. Also this year Samsung started giving rights to other companies to use the punch hole display, and nearly all businesses use Samsung’s displays

I was just looking at my favorite videos on TH-cam and the first one ever was how you taught me how to root for the first time! Moto photon 4g. Root with clockworkmod then all the TWRP Recovery videos after that lol! In fact I'm sure I subbed you first on TH-cam!
Exactly. That's with every phone. You'll be able to find this for about $650 like I did with the Note 10 Plus. The latter is still selling for $1100 at retailers, but I got mine nearly half the price off Amazon brand new

The best feature Motorola implemented with this Edge+ is you have the option to "Turn OFF the Edges". That's something phones like OnePlus 8 Pro must have as an option.
Also software update.. motorola truly sucks when it comes to it .. one plus is so prompt with updates.. it still gives updates to its 5T models.. I'm not sure motorola will give any update post two years

You forgot to cover 3 thinks about this phone. 1st what will happen to the screen when it is in charging mode while the screen (like when the screen is on the table, does the edge of the screen become green color?). 2nd did you mentioned that it can wireless charge too?. 3rd have you showed the quality of the front camera?
Moving the slider at the bottom seems a lot easier to switch between recent apps than trying to find the correct point on the edge to tap on the screen.

I don't like curved edge screens generally, but that L/R Shoulder Button is a pretty decent function for the curved screen, hope other flagships could that with an OTA update.

Motorola has history! Early in cell phone use I had Motorola. Over the years I have had different phone favorites. An unfortunate trash accident with my phone I find my self using my recently deceased fathers Moto X. Because it was there as a fall back device. As I look to update and view reviews, I can't knock Motorola. I sadly am turned off by the fact the device I am using is atrocious battery life, yet I check the new reviews because they are a solid device. Whether the device I want is another matter! I find myself looking more at the support and updates to the OS long term, that is where most brand options fail after the first 1-2 updates.
This sounds great. The fact that you can turn off the edge, the battery size and the headphone jack! Just wish the plus came to the UK. The normal version are on all networks.

First impressions from an owner. Not bad at all! Narrower than my OnePlus 7 Pro, nearly the same length. 799.00 is the current price. Throw in $80.00 from Verizon Up rewards and this was had for $719.00. To get a phone with a 90 hz display, 12 gb ram, 256gb of storage and a relatively clean version of Android 10 for that price is pretty good in my opinion. If you are on Verizon and are able to take advantage of the current deal and aren’t tied to having a certain brand of phone, one could certainly do worse than this phone. The minor downside is the bloatware. But once you uninstall or disable what you don’t need, no different than any other phone that has been setup to one’s own preferences.
As a motorola user of 6 years, this is like a dream phone! 😪

Even 19.5:9 looks thick and feels "outdated" now, especially when I compare my RM 3 pro with a Oppo A9 with 6'5 20:9 screen.

Without IP rating (with FHD and slow charging) its not a true flagship, but for flagship price. OnePlus is better deal.
