  • Happy New Year folks! Here's to 2024 ✨🥂🎉
To start the year, I have an ultimate asmr book video - showing you all the books that I have on my physical tbr (though this doesn't include anything bought or received recently e.g. presents from Christmas). This is crazy, as I own so many unread physical novels, that it's unusual to see them all in one place. This video is in no way to brag or show off, instead this is just to document what I have, so that I can plan and organise which ones I want to read next. It also shows you guys what I have, so that you can recommend and encourage me to read particular one / we could try to buddy read them! It allows you to see what 'Read With Me' videos might come soon, and what sort of books i enjoy and gravitate towards (and whether that matches your preferences too). This is in the form of an asmr video, so it's all tapping, scratching and tingles - with captions on screen, to tell you my thoughts on the book, a summary, some history as to where I got it from, and much more. It's casual, fun, comfy and cosy.
This video does not include talking, so it's a much more of a relaxing and calm video. My channel mainly focuses on these quiet and peaceful videos. Focused on content around books, art and studying 🌼🌱 It includes music, asmr tapping and scratching, and captions on screen.
I hope you enjoyed, and thank you for watching! 🤍

This is probably the best book tapping that I've ever heard.

White Nights by Dostoevsky is actually set in the summer. White night is a phenomenon that occurs in locations close to Polar circle, and Saint-Petersburg, where the story takes place, is one of those locations. In June and July the sun doesn't set completely, and even during the night hours it's not really dark.

Oh wow, I've never made that connection before or realised this - the more that you know. I can imagine that the setting really adds to the story of restlessness, which makes me incredibly intrigued. I might pick this up earlier than anticipated then, as summer's just around the corner. You're really selling these Russian novels to me haha, I am so interested :)
