So it’s a 1 gate raid as can boost onto roof of shed then in through the watchtower. Can’t wait for ladder hatches.
That’s so dumb. Literally impossible to build single player bases on console especially when you can’t build through existing structures.
@@Will-fr9hg play on pc with a server that had the build anywhere mod. This game was not made with console in mind.
I doubt they'll make ladder hatches. This isn't Rust. Hopefully they do, but doubtful
@@mojavecourier6987 I play on ps5 and am getting a gaming pc just for this game. Console absolutely sucks for dayz miss out on so much.
@@Will-fr9hg we’ll it’s a year later. you probably already know but you can now build anywhere on console ( through walls and all )
So what we have learned is, if you are gonna do this build, make sure you build as minimal as possible in the beginning and check if the second floor is going to let you build the left and right walls. AND make sure your genius squad mates don't get excited and start putting shit up in the wrong order, build it yourself and send the others off to get materials or some shit.......
Aside from climbing over, because of the way it is exposed, you can blast all three walls at the same time if you place your explosives right
Your character be giving off major "can I speak to the manager" energy.
regardless of boosting, what is the point of double walls (on the sides) when you only have 1 gate in front? Your base is as strong as its weakest point, so noone will ever bother with sides and just destroy front gate, making them useless
there are two gates to access the bunker. one wall is usseles
You either bust through a wall or a gate then the second gate. So 2 walls is useless. It's 2 layers still.
This actually protects the raiders while raiding

But if u boost onto the roof then drop down through your tower they have 1 wall to break while in cover. Either way max 2 walls to break. Cool idea tho.
awesome design and I might even give it a go but you could just get onto the roof and get into watchtower then only 1 wall to deal with still right. I wish you had the option of enclosing 4 sides of the watch tower.

You can have 4 sides but one has to be a gate

Honestly don't listen to the rest of these people. All bases will get raided. Out of all the videos I've watched. You have some creative builds that are unique. It's a good watch, and I'd love to see more content.

If u really dont mind space and can deal with a headache of space u can build another gate with wall inside of the garage with a improvised tent a stone oven and barrels creat etc for extra security
It's cool and all but, they will just shoot through the first front gate pretty much making the 2 side fences pointless might as well put them towards the inside making 2 more gates instead. That way they'll get through the first gate and see that there are 3 more mf'er inside thus pretty much making them give up unless it's a fully geared 4 man team. Even if that due to the limited space they'll probably assume it's not worth the cost put towards the raid in the first place since there is only 2 people worth of Loot at best.
Of course unless they don't give a shit and raid it just to make you mad... DayZ after all, I know first hand.

Ok so I did this build and managed to put the watch tower slightly too close to the damn building so that the upper level logs are clipping with the roof of the building... This makes it so that I can't put the left and right walls up on the second floor and the watchtower remains incomplete.. And my genius squad mate ofc went ahead and hammered all the nails and metal sheets into it while I was offline so it would take ages to dismantle and redo the whole thing now.. FML

Built almost 10 walls for a 1 wall raid, completed worthless. Build it up extra high too so everyone can find it 😭
Dont build this (on the ground in general) on Xbox! There is a Glitch to get below the Map and appeare somewhere else.
So People get in Bases and take Tools from inside or bring their own.. then they open the Base from inside.. :(
One lays on the ground, the outher lays over the first sow the guy below gets pushed below the map and „swimms“ there... then he just relogs where he wants to appear again...

South of bielawa theres an industrial are with a candy cane smoke stack. Theres on of these barns by the plank spawn. Doors facing away from the industrial area.

This games bases are pretty shit however u build them. Peep get in regardless...until we are given rust style defences it's just limited time until someone grief's it. Wasting dayz of work. Of course we still try. But we need shotgun traps , etc etc
