I think the saddest thing about the Internet and its popularity is that these kind of EPIC gems only get under 700 views. Ridiculous! Thank you Julian for this!
As a producer AND a rapper, I and I guarantee a lot of others needed this video to refresh the creativity. Too many trying to sound the same. Peace NO I.D.
This man has crazy crazy work under his belt certainly he has drove me to produce with records like i use to love you and other tracks that to me pushed boundaries sonically
@@silentry you said it, so now I can go back to selling this dope knowing that at least I am not the only person that realizes that where it comes from and why. 👊🏾
No ID took JDilla style of sampling take a listen to "Donuts" and you can hear how he chopped up the Nina Simone "Four Woman" song...man Dilla was way a head of his time.
The chops in samples are like that with MidWest producer... hell I even give off influence from them when I make beats and Im from East Cleveland, it’s a style that mostly goes to JayDee because of his legendary beats in 90s-early00s but No I.D. contributes his own style as well. They were both good friends and we’re both producing for Common, you gotta chill like there’s some beef between them and their work. We don’t need that kind of negativity here in the MidWest champ.
