Closing the beach at 10pm is bad enough. Most of the year it's the only time when you can be on the beach without a heat stroke. Now they are closing it at 6pm?!! What are the locals suppose to do, lock themselves in after mad traffic or in a slow transit after work? The actual beach never had any crime issues, it was always the streets of the city of MB. Now the MB police instead of protecting residents and employees, are attacking them too by kicking them violently off the beach. The state law grants access to all FL residents. It says that all FL beaches are public and can't be regulated by anyone except the state. These coastal cities are not public at all, they owned by filthy rich oligarchs who dictate what to do. The quality of life in MB is bad either way. Police don't protect residents from crime, they on top of crime even attack residents now.

@@1525boy She says Miami Beach does not and should not crack down on spring break visitors just because they're black or any other race. It should concentrate on detaining and arresting only those who are actually breaking the law. If they get the actual trouble-makers out of the way, then it will be better for Miami Beach residents and for visitors who are there to enjoy themselves without making trouble.
