Serving YAHWEH , means to not follow the dictates of our own heart. Praise AND GLORY TO GOD.

God gave me psalm 38 one day I was bowed down screaming at the ground and God gently revealed my heart and invited me to ask for help. I will always remember the gentle kindness of him showing me my condition and the invitation for healing. Love u

Thank you for providing such great resources......I have used them as a basis for some sermons at times (but always giving credit where credit is due). :)

Do ot harden your hearts. Receive his heart one that he will not despise. Let us all therefore be cleansed of all unrighteousness so that we may glorify God and walk in spirit and in truth amen🙏

Very encouraging message .. maybe a little under estimation of tree worship. In eastern cultures tree worship is common and a true Christian would most assuredly detest a Christmas tree.

David, I have loved this series. It has taught me so much. But I have some different thoughts on Xmas tree. Pagans in our culture did worship the tree during winter solstice. Do you believe there is a connection between the tree representing life during winter solstice and the fact we chose a date for Christmas during that same season of pagan worship? Christmas is not a holy day according to scripture and we know Jesus was not born in the winter. I think about Aaron's sons bringing strange fire. I think of Golden calf. People wanted to give honor their own way. The Holy One said no! I get people need to be convicted in their own mind, but I think we should give caution to these things and pray on them.

You are right! this pastor in his teaching” over Jeremiah it’s totally wrong. He’s part of the problem of Christianity today. Oh he’s white washing pagan practices and adapting them for Christians to think it’s OK. Sorry to say he’s just another false pastor.

The Old Testament shows that God corrects his people ad the world in general before even taking their lives. But I do wonder how Hell fits in.

In jerecho the LORD said bring nothing out of it for it is cursed. Have no part in it. Because they hid the things in his tent . They lost the battles until they obeyed.
1st Samuel chapter 4 .. they encamped at ebanezer and lost the battles again until they were obedient
The LORD brought us out of Egypt and wanted us to be separate from them , yet we still have part in it & in our own wisdom because we say we do it unto the LORD.
they will not receive the former or latter rain until they acknowledge their offense toward me .
Christmas is evil. We make excuses of not serving other gods and we stand in our own wisdom defending our actions as innocent, but the LORD says you don't know him.

It's a sad thing to hear justification in confirming to the world from the pulpit. So many others go right along with the deception.

Christian’s don’t celebrate the gift’s under the tree but the gift on the tree

It's sad to hear David celebrating Christmas. He seems too wise and knowledgeable to give into pagan holidays. It originated as a celebration of the sun god sol invictus, who was born December 25th. It was never something emphasized to celebrate in the Bible. If it was truly Christian, satanists, pagans, and the whole world wouldn't be partaking in it.

Exactly, everybody celebrates it but aren’t believers. How much more evidence to people need outside of the Bible condemning these types of things. The Bible literally says do not worship God the ways the other nations worship their Gods Love your answer! .

Exactly, as followers of Christ, we are not supposed to be conformed to this world (Romans 12:2). And we are to “COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPERATE, and touch not the unclean things.” (2 Corinthians 6:17). True followers of Jesus Christ are not supposed to partake in evil practices like the rest of the world does.‼️

pagan holidays. Constantine became a Christianduring his rule and wanted his kingdom to be saved too, and they didn’t want to get involved, so he merged pagan holidays with religion; Christmas and Easter(Ishtar), in particular. Not for me

Constantine also changed the Sabbath from Saturday (7th day as it was throughout the Bible) to Sunday and it's been handed down through the ages. We make all sorts of excuses why we worship on Sundays instead of just accepting the 4th commandment as it stands!

“Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.”
      ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.”
      ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭16‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What day ? The First Day of the week in Psalm 118:22-26 talks about the day of resurrection

Well a sabbath day is could pretty much be any day of the week that you choose to keep holy. Doesn’t mean that it has to be a specific day
