We are all gonna ignore how much he's GASSING UP that counter? Just pop it and eat it pal, you have the stars, the equips, the zenkai buffs / benches. Just get rid of the gauge and he'll steamroll almost everything in his path (almost because green is somehow a color that still exists in this game)
While I do agree he’s overrating Janemba’s gauge, but you shouldn’t forget that he also ignores Namek Goku’s Ki Reduction and cancels his most buffs that he builds up for an ultimate. this game is so fucking dumb.
Nah that ultimate is stupid it does stupid damage and namek goku can’t take he’s the definition of glass cannon.

@@Drodz1030nameku can't tank big hits like rushes of heavy hitting ultimates. But UK there are three units in a team, let someone else tank janembas counter and then nameku actually is a monster. I've said it since the release that janembas defence is not that great and after his counter janemba is a unit that NEEDS to be protected by his team. Janemba is pure offence. I have 6 star nameku and I run him all the time with DF. Df tanks the ult and if I start a combo then it's ez. One more thin is that ppl who haven't used nameku much don't have a good eye to switch characters before nameku locks.

During that celebration I was honestly wanting a new 1% SP Namek Vegeta that killed Jiece or from his fight with Final Form Frieza
Legends have been doing Vegeta units dirty this year. I don’t remember us even getting a solo Vegeta summonable sparking unit at all in 2023

Cooler can be really good if the opponent is using Pikkon and Janemba. You just have to pop the gauge with someone else or just yank it with type neutral cooler. Maybe he’s not as bad as we think.

I remember when he came out I wanted him but TikTokers kept saying he was bad, so I skipped and got him on my alt and i didn’t use him after I pulled him, I used him yesterday and I feel so stupid for skipping his banner on my main since I have so much more so I could’ve buffed him so much

While still a dominant character, I think Goku’s problem is 1. His Hp stat is way too low, 2.he has no insane disruptive abilities, and the one’s he has are situational, and 3. He can get hit decently hard and is mostly a beatstick character like LF Broly on release( but alotta characters do get hit hard)…In no way shape or form is he bad though, no way.
That's been pretty confusing the last few videos, I've noticed goresh talking about or mentioning how he doesn't have his Rush yet, But I'm pretty sure the last update literally turned the dragon ball chance down at the start of the match. Unless I was reading the notes for that update incorrectly or something

This character is still broken beyond belief. I have this guy in 6 stars and he still destroys people even without switching. His unique gauge allows his blue card to do stupid amount of damage and his green cardis insane. He is still top 5 in the game.

I already said Namek and Janemba are mid units carried by meta. Once the meta changes, Janemba will be out just like Namek. Kits matter and they've weak kits.

Ssj goku real problem is health.
This setup with 2 zenkais and green unit makes janemba easy to deal with.
His defence, attack, combo potential, ditrubt and even healing are good

It was bad enough his animations were really underwhelming since they felt copy and pasted with the other BLU LF Namek goku, mainly the LF and green card, but the fact he fell of so fast is a 1 - 2 punch combo.

“Fell off” is not really the right term for it. he’s in the same awkward situation as UVB where he’s still very good but not a dominant match carrier as he used to be. It’s the game’s dumb methodology that they design some units to solely counter specific units for no reason whatsoever. he was great until they decided to release fuckin Janemba to counter everything he was designed to do. and they will continue to do this with other units during Festival mark my words.

This game is an endless money pit where they drop units then counter them in 2 - 3 months sometimes weeks. Its becoming unplayable.

Icl, he ain’t top 10. Individually and as a damage dealer he is but where is his value. 0 def neutral or full neutral so any relevant green can 1-2 card him and now cos of janemba we have less reds and more greens. No one runs him on namek saga and with gofrieza u never use nameku so he’s never built up and offers nothing cos he just gets sacked off. Can’t believe they made NAMEK GOKU one of the worst ageing lfs of 2023, his animations r so fkin good as well. Hopefully we see saiyan saga buffs cos they should pair well with him
