About Phasmophobia:
Phasmophobia is a 4 player online co-op psychological horror. Paranormal activity is on the rise and it’s up to you and your team to use all the ghost hunting equipment at your disposal in order to gather as much evidence as you can.

For how the Voodoo doll works: The Voodoo doll you can use to force the ghost to make an interaction with whatever room it is in. This comes at the cost of 10% sanity for each use and you have 10 uses on it. Pressing the pin in the heart (chosen randomly if the player is above 10% sanity and IMMEDIATELY if 9% or lower regardless of how many pins you have left) will trigger a cursed hunt. The benefit of the doll is obviously knowing what room the ghost is in and forcing interactions that you can snap pictures of or complete objectives with.

If you look carefully at 23:43-23:47, you'll see that IGP must've tapped the use key twice while holding the doll, as the pin in the heart is also visibly pushed in when he zooms out from showing the one pushing into the arm. Poor Drae dies instantly to the voodoo heart-stabbed triggered hunt.
And the interactions can give you EMF 5 or fingerprints

I don’t think that’s a feature yet. The mimic doesn’t copy someone’s voice.
One of the devs, CJ, confirmed what happens when you trigger a hunt with the cursed objects like breaking the Ouija board. You enter what is known as a cursed hunt. This is a special extra long duration hunt where the ghost's aggression is turned to max, there is only a 1 second grace period before it can kill, the hunt cannot be prevented with items, and all hunts for the rest of the contract will also be extended. Use your cursed items wisely. Triggering a cursed hunt will make the rest of your experience that much deadlier.
I like how the roles basically swapped where the two professionals are acting like children and the semi-unpaid intern (Drae) is the one who's sick of their shit already

Kinda cheap as hell if the Ghost can just touch you and immediately walk away, while you're still going through death animations. It's like "Tag, you're it!" and then it's running again. I feel like the ghost should be occupied for the duration of the death animation, before returning to the hunt.

Well usually when a ghost kills someone the hunt ends. But I’m guessing it’s nightmare mode it’s like that. But yeah I agree with u on that

@@MnDakota37 There's an increasing chance for the hunt to be extended on a kill as the difficulty rises. On Nightmare, it's pretty common. It happens some times on professional.
As far as it being unfair: Man you move faster than most of the ghosts in this game anyway unless they're tailing you for long enough that they can accelerate to match your speed.
@@revolrz22 This is not true. Ghosts hunts are ALWAYS extended on Nightmare after a kill, it is not a random chance. Other difficulties this does not happen, but the duration of the hunts in general is increased by difficulty and map size.
As far as the fairness of it, that's Nightmare for you. It's designed specifically for people who have exhausted the challenge of Professional and are looking for something above that. The kind of people who have played so much they've got the game down to a science and aren't jumping at shadows or screaming in terror at the jiggle physics of a doll and pressing all the pins in in a panic.
That means having an idea of where to run and hide before a hunt starts, having smudge sticks to escape with, etc. It means not being shoulder to shoulder with your friends when it hunts giving the ghost an easy multikill, or sitting behind knee high cushions to hide, or flicking your EMF and flashlight on like a giant beacon that says "I'm right here! Kill me!"

*Hasn't successfully found the ouija board, but messes with the voodoo doll several times
You can't get the ouija board and the voodoo doll in a game. Theres only one cursed item per game and it can be the doll, a mirror, a summoning circle, the board, or a music box.

Hearing the ambiance of the locations like at 16:52 with the clock ticking and ghost growling lowly nearby, or earlier when it was crying at the location before is so unsettling. (Coming from someone who doesn’t really play lol)

i know a game you would enjoy playing, it's a PS2 game Named Echo Night Beyond and it's about a space station that exploded, everyone died, your wife was there and died as well sadly, now everyone turned into ghosts and strangely the mist makes them agressive, what you have to do is to clear the mist so you can eventually send those souls to ''heaven'' and finally talk to your wife one last time while she is in ghost form, but will you?
