- Studying effectively during the final week before a CFA exam is critical to being able to pass! In this video we discuss how I used mock exams, vacation time, formulas, and the final day before the exam to pass all the levels of the CFA.

Hey AJ. Regarding the mock exams, do you recommend purchasing them from any particular prep provider? I have 2 from Wiley + 2 from CFA, but wanted to take a few more.

Studying 12-14 hours a day is simply not possible for me. Effectively it's 5 maybe
Okay, but the point AJ regular makes is, find what works for you… no one is studying 12-14 hours a day and being effective
Hi there! I'm a civil engineer with no financial background. I just started studying for the CFA exam on the Bloomberg Prep platform. It just goes straight into practice questions... Since I dont have any prior relevant knowledge, I feel like I would benefit from actual lessons before trying to answer the mock questions (even though I'm over the 70% so far, with 30 lessons covered). I feel that when the most complicated and technical stuff comes up, I would be trying to guess a lot. Can you point me the best path in my case? Should I buy the books? Choose Kaplan or some other course? Thank you in advance! Congreats on your channel.
Hi Paulo,
You definitely should do a read through of the material before doing practice questions. Especially ethics. So I recommend reading the CFA content (which you have free access to if you are registered for the exam). If you want to buy video lessons, I like Wiley.

Signed up for L1 to sit in August a few days ago. Opened up to Corp fin and saw CAPM and was highly confused. Is that the most difficult it gets? The equation didn’t make sense. Gonna skim through the rest of the sections in the next month.

No I would say CAPM is one of the easier concepts,.

Early mocks were 55-58% and by the end i had scored a couple over 70%
