We invite even foreigners and domestic wrestler across the country during Hornbill festival but unless we take further step with proper coaching facilities for interested wrestlers to understand and gain the skills,it will always stay as an indigenous Naga sport. We have to think beyond and make it a global sport. If today,mauy thai stay with the thai people or BJJ for example, it would have remained as a national sport only. Moreover creating a platform Avenue of sportman like Venuzo and former wrestlers to earn source as income by appointing them as coach. Instead of offering them police job or other departments,why dont we give them a platform where they loved and has passion for. Just my humble opinion.

Hi azhove..wouldn’t it be so cool if the team works in a way where we have the wrestler in Blue waistband on screen when the announcer is introducing him and vice versa with the Red waistband. Sometimes we see Red on screen while the announcer is introducing the blue. Also another observation in last 1-2 years..towards the final, I think some wrestlers tend to use the 2 minutes injury time in their favour. Every time the wrestlers separated they took that 2 minutes injury time to 3 minutes or even more to fill their gas tank. Keeping that time tight would be more fair nahoi.?
All the wrestlers participating must learn his technique.. the way he trick the opponent by first attempting on the left and then take down on the right is too tricky and awesome 🔥🔥
