As I’ve said before I’m from North America and I live in the USA, somewhat similar to what you guys did for like the British Isles. I’m going to suggest an animal for both the whole country and the state I live in, that being Indiana. For the entire country, I’m going with the American Bison. They’re a strong and majestic animal that works best in herds, similar how to when the American people work together they can achieve good things. The American Bison’s story is also very closely tied to the Indigenous Peoples culture and what has happened to them. For my specific state of Indiana, I’d go with the Peregrine Falcon. My state is known for racing and what animal could best suit a state like that? Why the fastest animal on the planet of course, while yes it’s a widespread species and my state doesn’t have any great story with them. I thought to combine the two anyway.

@@roselee9961 Indianapolis!!! I’m not particularly clued up on race culture, but I know of the Indy500 and the IndyCar Grand Prix! Peregrine is indeed a fitting species for your state, and it might be a bit of bias on my part, but your bison and our wisent are awesome species certainly worthy of representing your country!!!

Hey! Thanks for the feedback - little bit too much waffle in our intro, I actually often feel the exact same way so your comment gives me a little confirmation on that. Unfortunately, due to other commitments, we're too late for the next few episodes to re-edit our intros BUT we will definitely take your comment onboard for next year's episodes!
Our heartfelt thanks for your honesty - criticism is valuable feedback that will help us improve the content.
      Have an awesome day!
