People sleep on the Volvo turbo 5 cyl. I have an 02 V70 T5 that we did a full turbo back exhaust. Added 3" downpipe out of the turbo, removed cat, resonator and muffler, with 3" straight pipe from the DP all the way back. It sounds delicious :)

I did this to a 3.1 v6 lumina sounded insane, when it heated up properly and blew the gasket it even smoked it was amazing i loved that car, it was great for forced workouts too always walking home and shit😂🔥
My daily car is a Volvo S60 T5 2008, and it has 90,000 milles, I have never had any problems with it and in my opinion it is one of the most underrated cars on the market
@@extremeencounter7458 yeah on some other cars...these 5 cylinder volvo's do not like blow off valves and you'd have to be properly tuned to run one especially on manual. It makes the cars run bad. Some people have even had issues during tuning with a blow off valve. these are MAP are the ecu is programmed to account for all the air in the system and it expects it to be recirculated from a CBV like the car has from factory. Replacing the CBV with a blow off valve throws the AFR's all off and makes the car run like shit and even want to stall between shifts.
@@T5_T-Rell if its map tuned(aka speed density) you can run vta(vent to atmosphere) as there is no airflow meter keeping track of the amount of air coming in what you are saying is true for a maf tuned car but not a map tuned on

i had a 740 turbo that had high flow cats, no resonator, high flow muffler, 2.5" mandrel bent pipe, 15psi...wasn't as loud as this but was a very nice sound. Just having a turbo makes a car quieter than without one.
Those engines are used in the focus st225 which is more common over here in the uk. Lovely sounding engines. Also love to shoot flames when decat and mapped

Third car Volvo 144 (from Sweden) with a engine swap from a 850 T5 And now i got an imported Volvo 850 T5 from Portugal, so it's only a 2.0, but with big turbo, is good for +400 hp, but daily it's around 300-320 hp, i have not upgraded internals.. The 5 cylinder sounds amazing, next car is going to be a rwd old Volvo again so i can drift. Have always had a soft spot for the Volvo Amazon 121 combi. Have you seen Guy Martin's Amazon? Perfection😍

It was all good until you welded the exhaust pipe to that crossover brace. Not a good idea the exhaust needs to be able to move not to mention that is gonna transmit vibration into the interior bad af Honestly should have just took that pointless brace off instead of welding it like that
The chain for the door is kinda the way to open it with out having a motor, and a fail save if ya had a motor and it failed. You can get a industrial size opener for the doors and works almost like your garage would
on a down shift going from 3rd to 2nd start giving the throttle little blips so little taps over and over you will get really loud after fires from the exhaust my old ST225 use to do it really loudly.
When I started mig welding this year I did the same thing that you were doing Gavin. I kept the gun back too far because I felt that I couldn’t see the puddle well but when I got closer my welds started looking a lot better and I got more comfortable doing mig welds. I am only 17 and I am about to graduate with welding certificates from my local college before I even graduate high school.
