    Let me get this straight, AB was happily resigning with the Bucs last offseason for a significant salary bump providing that he remain in good behavior and play. However, due to his own poor decisions and judgements with the fake vaccine card, and "injuries" he missed at least half of the season. All of a sudden he is missing a lot of game checks so he is not making as much as he would have made.
    Then he blamed Brady for failing to get him the same contract that Gronk got. It is somehow Brady's fault he is not making as much money as he would like. What he failed to realized is why Chris Godwin is on a franchise tag instead of getting a long term contract. If AB is any smart with logical thinking he would have known that Brady and the Bucs are giving him an opportunity to sign another huge contract if he is on his best behavior this season and play well for them. If he does what he is suppose to do, at the end of this season Godwin will be gone and AB will get a 3-4 years contract with big money. Guys like AB don't deserve sympathy.

So his little 3 game suspension is peanuts compared to 3 yes jail time! He caused himself that problem of not getting his incentives! All he had to do is behave this year whether he got his incentives or not and he would of been back in the money next year for another team because teams would of seen that AB turned himself around. What Rob is saying is, "I don't care about people unless they can help out." He's projecting. Rob wouldn't do what Brady did so he needs to disparage it as unimportant.

    • @OnYourSquare
      @OnYourSquare 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think Rob's point was, Brady's motives weren't as altruistic as people are painting them out to be.
      It was a grand gesture, they plucked him off the street. Stayed at his house, etc, etc..
      It wasn't: "I want to save AB."
      It was: "AB is an amazing receiver! Hr can help us.I think I can keep him out of trouble."
      There's a definite difference.

      @Brian Hunt Yeah - the fact that he's willing to put AB in the house when he could possibly be alone with his wife should definitely not be overlooked. She could become another statistic and everyone would still be demanding his sainthood.

    I've been a Brady hater for the vast majority of his career. It was only when he went to the Bucs that I accepted the fact that he is the GOAT and that some the reasons that I hated him (and the reasons are off the field as well as on) may not be justified. I say all that to set the context of my statement: I think saying that Brady doesn't care about AB is unfair. Brady has done too much to help AB to say negative things about Brady's motivation for helping AB.

      Not often we see people with character enough to make such an admission. Props on that front. I also agree that Tom stuck his neck out for AB. I'm not an AB hater, but the man is a walking self-inflicted wound. He engages in these actions, then sets out to avoid responsibility by blaming everyone but the man in the mirror. That is sheer cowardice in a man's realm. Of course Tom likes AB because he's a hella good baller, but Tom actually does care about the guy. But why would Tom risk further wounds by supporting a man who just quit on coaches, teammates, fans and the entire football community, especially when it's crunch time in the NFL? Why isn't AB addressing these issues, but rather focusing on who should have done what in order to save his shirtless ass? The man needs professional help and he needs it 8 years ago.

  • @1RastaWarrior

    The point isn’t that Tom Brady wanted to help AB just because he’s a great football player. The point is that Tom Brady was willing to help AB when so many other players and teams weren’t despite his greatness. Other players and teams were making SB runs last year and the year before who could’ve used WR help, but they weren’t willing to make friends with AB just because he’s great a football player because they weren’t willing to look beyond AB’s personality issues like Brady willing did. Brady was willing to take a risk on AB when no one else would. If it weren’t for Tom Brady, Brown would’ve probably been still sitting on his couch since my Raiders cut him.

I think that is a football friend. Brady did not have to do that. The game before he walked off Tom hit him with a lot of passes to get him close to his incentives, and the game he walked out on Tom throw im 5 passes in the first half and would have thrown him more in the second half and the last game of the season.Brady can not play for him and he did not get him suspended or hurt him so he missed so many games. In bradys defense i think they actually have a lot of similarities that made brady beleive they were cut from the same clothe . Given that they both were 6th round picks that became all time great. They both have that competitive fire, self belief, and work ethic and they both can blow up if things dont go their way. I genuinely beleive brady saw some of Antonios behaviors as things he wish he could do but can because hes a quarterback. He thought he could keep ab happy by giving ab what he would want if he was a receiver but clearly ab had deeper issues

  • @kidanedickson

    I with Rob on this Brady was not a real friend he was more of a friend of convenience. If he was a real friend no way AB would be playing on a minimum contract. I felt everything AB said...that man is not crazy just confident in himself and abilities. His numbers are 2nd to nun playing the game right now and he playing at a high level still so why the Bucs trying him like he's a scrub. I would have took off my gear and dipped too. The Bucs was gladly taking the production he giving them on the field but they didn't want to pay for it. They use the excuse of his behavior not to pay him and he finally stood up for himself. They got mad BA ran off at the mouth and cussed him out on national TV (sideline), told him he's done. He AB took their stuff off and left. AB and Gronk were the main factors in the SB Gronk made 10 M last year 10M this year why AB on a minimum contract???? Im from Tampa and a Buc fan by the way so no it aint no bias here

    relationships and friendships are built and cultivated through interaction and communication. To insinuate that brady is a phony and has no feelings for AB outside football is assuming a lot. I have guys that initially we started interacting because they came to work for me. They no longer work for me and we are still good friends.

    Rob parker sometimes expresses his opinion based off his personal feelings about an individual. He never liked Brady so anything that someone says negative about Brady, he will over express it in his negative opinions. Rob is not professional and is not objective in his analysis and response. Calling Tom Brady a fake is just so judgmental and ignorant. AB has issues and there is no justification for this type of human. AB is arrogant, selfish, dumb, treat women like crap. I don't feel sorry for AB.
