I know that is what many think, but it is presumptuous and limiting to assume that Kim was cowered into not having her songs included. I can not imagine that he cares about being outsold.

@@easysontaran1503 It’s hardly presumptuous, it’s a well documented fact about the tension between Kim and Frank. Before their last album during their first incarnation Kim had already quit. They had to bribe her back into finishing their last tour cycle. Also, all artists care about their popularity. There is no distinction, every artist for thousands of years wants to touch as many people as they can. That idea only exists among mythology among white indie rock circles, in the minds of the audience. Nowhere else are musicians guilty for success.

"Outsold" basically because of one song, Cannon Ball... You make it sound like the Breeders were a studium band.... The Pixies' legacy is more important and they bring more audience at their gigs
