I hope you see this comment because it is 8/19/23 and I just came across you on TH-cam. I have the dies, I have the stamps & yes I still have the paper. YES I DID STAMP TODAY!! (Made 3 cards)
@@ellenjampole1905 thanks so much! I have no idea why this old video is popping up for so many people lately but I’m glad you like it! Have fun creating your own version!
@@cindytartt4048 lol...so many ways to do our dating systems. I should have written 2023, not just 23. My goof. OZ is such a lovely country. I was lucky enough to live in Ballarat for a few months a few years back.
What a great way to showcase DSP! And the Christmas cards; although it's two years ago, I still have some of that DSP and I still have the dies you used. Thank you for sharing!
Great idea. One can use all kinds of dies for the focal point. Certainly using interesting background papers makes cards go quickly. Thanks for the idea.
@@amandamertz-didyoustamptod7154 I sure did enjoy your video. I watched a couple more on your channel too. I encourage you to do more because they are great. Not too long but with clear instructions. I would have commented more when I replied last night but my iPad keyboard kept glitching. I am a new Stampin’Up demonstrator, but I’ve been stamping and card crafting for years. There seems to be a ‘Stampin’Up way’ of doing things that doesn’t always match my own style but it makes me try new things. See you again soon!
Well… I made 3 cards with this technique this afternoon. I realised I am really rubbish at tangrams as I took ages to get the three triangles in the right order! I thought I was going mad. I think one of the problems was that I cut two from the same double sided paper, thinking I could just flip over and use the other side for a fourth pattern. In the end I finally finished them. I used the Gone Fishin’ DSP and stamp and dies. So now I’ve got 3 cards for men ready to go. Thanks again for sharing the technique.
@@sherylosullivan9619 welcome to the Stampin’ Up! world as well! The trick to using the same paper with each side is to cut with the pattern you want facing up. So just cut 2 panels with each side showing. That’s should help!
I have this same paper (never used!) but not the stamp set. I’m sure I can use what I have to make something just as great! Thanks for the video and I’m excited to make this Christmas card layout this year. 🎉🎉 New Subscriber!
