Hi Everyone, On the 1 year anniversary of this upload, I just wanted to post a quick update here so that I'm not only communicating on my twitter. If you haven't seen it already, I made a tweet ( twitter.com/Ramsey_II/status/1113018796522913793 ) a couple days ago shedding a bit more light on why I haven't been uploading. Like stated in this tweet, I am still in touch with comments, messages, emails etc. and I really, really appreciate it, it's a big part of what keeps me going. I fully intend to return to TH-cam in one way or another, with a new outlook and method of doing things, with quality ultimately being key. I just have a few more things to work on in the meantime. Ramsey was once a god of Rust. Bringing us Joy and emotion with every upload, now as he slowly fades into obscurity with no return in sight, we still come back to appreciate just how amazing the videos he made were. In the meantime a new generation of Rust youtubers have surfaced. Welyn, Motion etc. All of them give similar feels when you watch them, but it never truly fills the void left after Ramsey and that's fine. Eventually we'll move on, but we should always remember where the inception of story-telling Rust gameplay lies.

Welyn has been satisfying for me. His storytelling has improved in the last few months. A lot less trolling and "check your privelege", but combining Welyn's Pumpkin Gang antics and Oblivion's trap trolling fills the void reasonably well.
Who else comes back and rewatches this man’s channel every year or so it makes me sad I still have hope that one day he’ll come back swingin with some banger videos but I know Ramsey has a life of his own so no rush will alway love watching these hood classics

Old rust 2017-2019 was by far the best version of rust. I wish there was a way to revert it, even if there was a single server available. Videos like these and frosts old videos were so entertaining. Now rust is just this try hard obsessive game
If memory serves correctly, this was my first exposure to Rust. Few years on and several hundreds of hours of gameplay and videos watched on TH-cam later, this is still the best piece of content in this game I’ve ever seen

Everytime I finish a Ramsey video it feels like I just watched a 2 hour blockbuster. The production quality is just so amazing not to mentio your typical use of music which is not only unique but also phenomenaly good. I might be crazy but does anyone else rewatch this video every couple of months like a movie that you just love?! I watched it at least 20 times in the past 3 years and it’s still amazing. Thanks Ramsey for getting me through my depression in high school with these vids despite having a rough patch. This was like a small movie! The editing was fantastic, being a 40 minute TH-cam video can be hard to hold the viewers attention. To prove this, I was going to watch this in the background while playing Dark Souls 3, but I ended up watching the whole thing uninterrupted. That's how you hook a viewer without click bait or over enthusiasm. The timing with the music was awesome as it was satisfying as balls and cut the time of boring upgrading. It surprisingly didn't get old in the slightest bit. The commentary was also great as it wasn't the cliche tone and attitude that most TH-cam videos have, it was snarky and funny, kept me entertained and wanting to see what happened next. This video was all in all fantastic. I just randomly clicked this in my recommended list out of boredom. Wasn't disappointed. Keep it up if you can! ;-D

This... this video is single handily is the greatest rust video in the history of rust videos. It’s has been rewatched so many times but every time it feels so new.
Been gone for almost a year, and your sub count is still skyrocketing, that shows how amazing your production quality is man, take as much time to make the high quality videos as you do man.
I've never played rust, nor seen much of it, but this video was so well made that I watched the whole damn thing. The music, the editing, the story telling... you've just earned a sub. Well done mate.
I've always said his using Rust gameplay as a stage is mere aesthetics upon which he ALWAYS builds awesome story lines and high content videos that set him far apart from so many 'Average you tubers' it's almost like the "You tube platform" actually works against his due credit for his efforts and skills as a story teller and video construction craftsmanship.
A lot of Rust TH-camrs have really good editing skills. Ramsey is one of them. Oh, Surge is a pretty good editor as well. If you're looking mostly for content, watch Stimpee.

Dear Ramsey, I honestly do not know how I even got to your video, since I really don't watch or play Rust at all, but I found myself on your channel and this is the first video I've seen of yours. I just have to say that this is probably one of the most well edited, high quality videos I've watched on TH-cam in terms of gameplay videos. It's kind of reminiscent of Frankie on Pc's stuff, except while his stuff is kind of like a cinematic movie experience, I'd have to describe this video as a bit of TV show, and I mean that in the best way possible. @Rubber Cuckies No not rly as far as I know. The only difference is that a Game ban is issued by Valve in order of the dev. VAC is a System by Valve. So Rust is a game for example that uses a diffrent anti cheat but uses the "VAC-System" wehen it comes to banning. So no. there is not much difference in those. you can basically say: "Red text = Banned for ever". (And I can say , it sucks to be VAC Banned. You do learn from it, except youre rly into hacking ^^ (#1532DaysSinceTheoneandonlyVAC)

Hey Ramsey. Looked through your Twitter, and it's pretty obvious you're working through something pretty tough, but feel an obligation to keep up TH-cam. I'll put it simply: you owe us no apology. The content you have put out is the best anywhere on TH-cam. Take as much time as you need Ramsey, and if that does mean we have to wait another year so be it, just look after yourself and don't beat yourself up for not saying anything.

I know. ALOT of youtuber's videos I just put on my right monitor and play brawlhalla on my left, but with ramsey, he can keep my attention for hours.

I've never played rust, nor seen much of it, but this video was so well made that I watched the whole damn thing. The music, the editing, the story telling... you've just earned a sub. Well done mate.
I've always said his using Rust gameplay as a stage is mere aesthetics upon which he ALWAYS builds awesome story lines and high content videos that set him far apart from so many 'Average you tubers' it's almost like the "You tube platform" actually works against his due credit for his efforts and skills as a story teller and video construction craftsmanship.

I honestly do not know how I even got to your video, since I really don't watch or play Rust at all, but I found myself on your channel and this is the first video I've seen of yours. I just have to say that this is probably one of the most well edited, high quality videos I've watched on TH-cam in terms of gameplay videos. It's kind of reminiscent of Frankie on Pc's stuff, except while his stuff is kind of like a cinematic movie experience, I'd have to describe this video as a bit of TV show, and I mean that in the best way possible. I'm gonna be exploring the rest of your channel and videos, and I hope I can expect even more of this high quality content in the future.

@Rubber Cuckies No not rly as far as I know. The only difference is that a Game ban is issued by Valve in order of the dev. VAC is a System by Valve. So Rust is a game for example that uses a diffrent anti cheat but uses the "VAC-System" wehen it comes to banning. So no. there is not much difference in those. you can basically say: "Red text = Banned for ever". (And I can say , it sucks to be VAC Banned. You do learn from it, except youre rly into hacking ^^ (#1532DaysSinceTheoneandonlyVAC)

The content you have put out is the best anywhere on TH-cam. Take as much time as you need Ramsey, and if that does mean we have to wait another year so be it, just look after yourself and don't beat yourself up for not saying anything.
