What really makes this trip is I took my friends with me and this is their first time in Africa. ooh,thats fun!(i just went last summer in july untill august and it was really fun.Im going back in dec in sha allah(instead of the summer cuz when its summer in europ it will be a rainy season in Gambia so just incase if u didnt know)and the roads will not be good :)
Loved your vlog! I’m supposed to be going to The Gambia it will be my first time in Africa during my birthday celebration and also my first flight.. I seen the part where you all were thanking God for bumping you all up to business class and I’m trying to figure out how you did that? Are their any tips I’ve never flew so Im not flight savvy yet 😅 please teach me your ways! Lbvs 🎉❤❤ I was praying my luck would be that way. Im 5’11 and scared economy won’t be spacious enough but the ticket is already purchased and it’s Brussels I see you do not favor that particular company.. 😢 my fiancé got my ticket trusting it would be good now I’m on edge lol

For me as a gambian and as someone that returned to my father's country almost 10 years ago to get away from the western world hypocrites... Its nice to see such a video. Its nice produced and well done. But in my oppinion it does in some parts not show reality. A good advisor and local person with a real understanding of our beautiful nation seems to have been missing for the lady. Appart from that. Nice done... Also the mention of a "pandemic" wich is absolutly not a topic in the gambia (and we are happy for that) was not necessary. Basically what we in the gambia love is our freedom... So why European based people try to influence our modest? A person that is comming from europe with big money in the pocket. Can that person really feel our nation? I think not. I am an Airline Captain since many years. But when I mooved to the gambia my payment was adjusted to a so called African selary. I live a poor life here with less then 200€ every month for me and my son. We are poor but happy. I moss those parts in this video. So i see such a video with mixed feelings. It's a nice video but it is only telling a 50 percent truth.
