The greatest artist have given you joy from the pain they have experienced They have given you an abstract image of the feelings that they feel is vivid They create characters and actors that are larger than life They are small, bitter and timid They can only channel the things that they cannot admit To themselves, they translate seamlessly through another person soul They can only emit, but cannot absorb the light in their deep dark hole People like Hemmingway, Shakespeare and others can only know This burden, I am burdened And saddened by this never changing pattern If I cannot express this passion I feel there is something in my life that I am lacking I am drawn to pain I am drawn to people believing that I am insane If your brain believes it is crazed what’s to stop it from thinking that way The addictions just allow this addiction to live a life of fiction While someone else has to bare living his life in omission Sometimes I wonder if I am blessed My mom believes in God a 110% I think she loves Him more than me I don’t blame her though, I know where she is coming from She believes He completely believes in me Even if I don’t believe in myself He will always help me if I am need I’ve been seeing images of a clown A tear streaming down its face Removing the paint as it amplifies his pain But you just see a small glimpse of his skin I wonder if that has meaning The crooked smile looks broken But the fact that he is trying Atleast justifies that in a panchromatic portrait You can still see the bright sight

That awkward moment when all the American fans of Kendrick don't even flinch at 1:59
Fact uark
Not only limited to American
Fr I don't live in the US

[Verse 1]
I woke up this morning and figured I'd call you
In case I'm not here tomorrow
I'm hopin' that I can borrow
A peace of mind, I'm behind on what's really important
My mind is really distorted
I find nothing but trouble in my life
I'm fortunate you believe in a dream
This orphanage we call a ghetto is quite a routine
And last night was just another distraction
Or a reaction of what we consider madness
I know exactly what happened
You ran outside when you heard my brother cry for help
Held him like a newborn baby and made him feel
Like everything was alright in a fight he tried to put up
But the type of bullet that stuck
Had went against his will, that's blood spilled on your hands
My plan's rather vindictive
Everybody's a victim in my eyes
When I ride it's a murderous rhythm
And outside became pitch black
A demon glued to my back, whispering "Get 'em!"
I got 'em, and I ain't give a fuck
That same mentality I told my brother not to duck
In actuality it's a trip how we trip off of colors
I wonder if I'll ever discover a passion like you and recover
The life that I knew as a youngin
In pajamas and dun-ta-duns

[Verse 2]
You wrote a song about my sister on your tape
And called it Section.80
The message resembled "Brenda's Got a Baby"
What's crazy was I was hearin' about it
But doubted your ignorance
How could you ever just put her on blast and shit?
Judgin' her past and shit?
Well, it's completely my future
Her nigga behind me right now askin' for ass and shit
And I'ma need that forty dollars
Even if I got to fuck, suck and swallow
In the parking lot, Gonzales Park, I'm followed
By a married man, and father of three
My titties bounce on the cadence of his tinklin' keys
Matter of fact, he my favorite 'cause he tip me with E's
He got a cousin named David and I seen him last week
This is the life of another girl damaged by the system
These foster homes, I run away and never do miss 'em
See, my hormones just run away and if I can get 'em
Back to where they used to be, then I'll probably be in the denim
Of a family gene that show women how to be woman
Or better yet, a leader, you need her to learn somethin'
Then you probably need to beat her, that's how I was taught
Three niggas in one room, first time I was tossed
And I'm exhausted, but fuck that "Sorry for your loss" shit
My sister died in vain, but what point are you tryna gain
If you can't fit the pumps I walk in?
I'll wait… Your rebuttal a little too late
And if you have a album date, just make sure I'm not in the song
'Cause I don't need the attention, bring enough of that on my own
And matter fact, did I mention that I physically feel great?
A doctor's approval is a waste of time, I know I'm straight
I'll probably live longer than you and never fade away
I'll never fade away, I'll never fade away, I know my fate
And I'm on the grind for this cake, I'ma get it or die tryin'
I'm eyein' every male gender with intentions of buyin'
You lyin' to these motherfuckers
Talkin' about you can help 'em with my story
You can help me if you sell this pussy for me, nigga
Don't ignore me, nigga, fuck your glory, nigga, you ain't shit...

Sometimes I look in the mirror
And ask myself: Am I really scared of passin' away?
If it's today, I hope I hear a
Cry out from Heaven so loud it can water down a demon
With the Holy Ghost 'til it drown in the blood of Jesus
I wrote some raps that made sure that my lifeline reekin'
The scent of a reaper, ensurin' that my allegiance
With the other side may come soon, and if I'm doomed
May the womb of my mother be blessed for many moons

My imagination is surely an aggravation of threats
That can come about, ’cause the tongue is mighty powerful
And I can name a list of your favorites that probably vouch
Maybe 'cause I'm a dreamer and sleep is the cousin of death
Really stuck in the schema of wonderin' when I'ma rest
And you're right, your brother was a brother to me
And your sister's situation was the one that pulled me

Cursin' the life of twenty generations after her soul
Exactly what'd happen if I ain't continue rappin'
Or steady bein' distracted by money, drugs and 4-5's
I count lives, all on these songs
Look at the weak and cry, pray one day you'll be strong
Fightin' for your rights, even when you're wrong
And hope that at least one of you sing about me when I'm gone
Am I worth it? Did I put enough work in?

@@esmo915 sorry for your loss. I lost an uncle not too long after i wrote a college presentation describing the storytelling aspects of this song, one of the last projects i completed before graduating college. And all that time that led up to that moment was for him cuz he never graduated. He was like a father, and just happy he got to see me graduate before his untimely passing. Sad thinking about as this beat plays but it puts me at peace. Sorry, just thought id share. This beats so lovely.
I cannot explain how good the beat is
My intuition is
Reinvention - kie
Reinvention within my head
Opening up newer gates
God is 0guiding me to have stronger faith
But first I need to change my mental state
reciprocate the demons in my head
Driving the merc but first you gotta remove the curse
We're all one Tryna be loved
Using colours to cover up my hurt
Going deep within my feelings I sink
Ppl be thinkin
Ppl be seeking
Different things,
I wanna rise above from the pain
I wanna express myself without having hate
beauty in her eyes shows the pain from her darker nights
Let's just rise above
embrace the curve
Open up your arms to those ppl who still have hate
Rumours going around like plates passing around
Just tryna stay on the ground
Are you consumed by the crown
Who are you gonna surround yourself with, you are who you mix with
I don't brag about getting laid
Send help she said before fades
Let's just communicate
Walking your path,
nobody said it won't be tough
Constant swipe of never ending lies
Water your mind, you're saving your time
Stop asking her, will ever you be mine
Take the time, to improve what's not fine
Stop the rewind
What's the point of suffering your mind
I get it she's a nine
But is she really that divine
gotta refine your design
what are u tryna fix
Inhaling so many different kind of vicks
Expressing yourself doesn't mean that you're weak
Just means you're embracing what cannot be fixed
Storytelling in disguise
Soreading love like it's a franchise
Stop depending on people when you're sad
Don't be mad
I'm not done yet
Tryna act bold but lowkey afraid of the unknown
Don't call me back, I ain't gonna pick up my phone
Stop telling me that you're alone
You're gonna leave earth with a single soul
You've been acting pretty cold
I've been feeling pretty low
Why can't we just go with the flow
Tryna give out my love but bailing when the path is so blur
Tryna stay in love
but this is making me deter
when can we ever concur
good days are gonna occur
Just stop drinking that liquor
That shit will make u suffer
Don't stay on the same spot
Move on from the battles that you've once fought
Don't let your sexual drive interfere with your inner life
When time is right
Go full out that night
We gotta stop this fight
Have a piece of my mind
honesty over everything
It's not the things we say but the way we portray
...And may the womb of my mother be blessed for many moons...
This is so soothing
The drums sound so similar to Logic - Metropolis
they both sampled the same song, but kendrick did it first

The greatest artist have given you joy from the pain they have experienced
They have given you an abstract image
of the feelings that they feel is vivid
They create characters and actors that are larger than life
They are small, bitter and timid
They can only channel the things that they cannot admit
To themselves, they translate seamlessly through another person soul
They can only emit, but cannot absorb the light in their deep dark hole
People like Hemmingway, Shakespeare and others can only know
This burden, I am burdened
And saddened by this never changing pattern
If I cannot express this passion
I feel there is something in my life that I am lacking
I am drawn to pain
I am drawn to people believing that I am insane
If your brain believes it is crazed what’s to stop it from thinking that way
The addictions just allow this addiction to live a life of fiction
While someone else has to bare living his life in omission
Sometimes I wonder if I am blessed
My mom believes in God a 110%
I think she loves Him more than me
I don’t blame her though, I know where she is coming from
She believes He completely believes in me
Even if I don’t believe in myself
He will always help me if I am need
I’ve been seeing images of a clown
A tear streaming down its face
Removing the paint as it amplifies his pain
But you just see a small glimpse of his skin
I wonder if that has meaning
The crooked smile looks broken
But the fact that he is trying
Atleast justifies that in a panchromatic portrait
You can still see the bright sight
This song heals my wounds❤
I spilled my emotions out on a paper with pen to this beat for a girl I have an insane crush on (she knows I have a crush on her) everybody please wish me luck, I'mma spit it to her next time we chill ...

I play this instrumental all the time just to relax my mind

Can I think back on the days that we had time to live/
And replay the memories where it was love to give/
And while I think back on it all it feels so counterfeit/
Illusions of Grandeur that I'm encountering/
A road trip down memory lane you could count me in/
Will this adventure be everything that I doubt it is/
Or will I end up on a path that leaves me powerless/
Was I really there or was it all imagination/
I can think of feels but cannot fathom their creation/
Counting down the hours can't connect the days of waiting/
And when I sit and reminisce can't stand to weigh my patience/
But these thoughts will make me famous/
Pouring out my brain so that these verses can be dated/
But as I sit in sickness does it mask my words in tainted/
Visions or is it true that my passion's too contagious/
Try to skip those days in Vegas,/
The land of distant memories and dreams of those who've wasted/
Dolla after dolla just to get their mindstream faded/
But in this day and age is it wrong of me to blame em/
I'll pop the pill but won't swallow/
So much on mind but the rest of me hollow/
Don't trust my own decisions put my faith into a bottle/
Fail this test of life even though I know that a lot will/
Passing up experience to build the love I fondle/
Seen too many deaths, off to buy another laurel/
If I had only hope to borrow/
Would it be my life dream to drown down all my sorrows/
Buy a round of shots and try to usher in tomorrow/
It's a sad reality such a merry dream we follow/

Stop posting lyrics on youtube, someday, someone will steal them and become rich off it. Noone is looking for rappers in the comment section on youtube so stop.
It's not like we hear this type of hip hop on the radio anyways. There's no way to put these poems to a trap song. It wouldn't even match some of rappers personas anyways. They're main concern is money, cars, weed, and bitches. I don't see that coming from these poems these brothers are trying to share, the struggle ain't nobody trying to hear. The truth, the real.......you tell me, just lend us an ear.

can't feel my face again sinning in dream/
she haunts all memories as a face smiles with a scream/
scene ends cinematic watching time go serene/
just another memory in a museum of broken dreams/
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
thats's deep... yet, very dark tho!!!
