My hair is/was super fine and very thin. It would fall out in clumps and wouldn't grow properly. A TH-camr that I watched a couple of years ago, shared how she'd transformed her hair with Matrix shampoo and conditioner, coconut oil, macadamia nut oil and changing to natural hair brushes. I was desperate and decided to purchase everything she used. To my astonishment, it worked! I now only wash my hair every 4-5 days, I use coconut oil once a week, over night and once a month I use the macadamia nut oil. I use a wide "wet brush" when my hair is damp and I use a natural paddle brush. My hair has totally transformed. It's thicker, stronger, shines like gold and it's grown so long. I think your hair looks so incredibly healthy now, it's stunning. Slight change of subject but would you do more makeup looks PLEASE? Much love to you and Andre.xxx
Laura Filby Hello Laura! Would you mind telling me who this TH-camr is or linking me to the video? I'm going through this exact same thing, my hair is falling out in so many clumps. i'm desperate :(
I also had problems with bleaching my hair (from my natural brown hair to a white blond) and although I dyed again with my natural color it was still damaged. But one day I found coconut oil and it was my salvation 😂 I really recommend it, good advices ❤️❤️
I love that your reviews seem genuinely honest and like this is actually what you use in your hair. I can't stand when videos like this are so sponsored you can't even trust the youtuber and their opinion anymore. Thank you for this! 😁
I love the tips and tricks you show in this video. Would also like to add that if you don't wash and blowdry your hair everyday, don't make it wet aswell. I have short fine and dyed hair that I only wash once a week. If I don't wash it, I put on a shower cap, just so that my dye won't wash out as quik and my hair don't has any contact with warm (HOT in my case) water. I guess that you have to make your hair wet most of the times because of your job, but I also don't have the time for it before work and school. If I do have to blow dry (or if I have a bad hair day), I just use a spray bottle with water to wet it.
it sucks that we all have to go through at least one bad experience hair wise in our lives! On the bright side we always come out wiser and more careful 💜 I had damage hair from years of chemo and on top of that I've always bleach and dye my hair... just last year i had blond, silver, lavender and finally went ashy brown ish lol im starting to be more careful with it and giving it some well deserved love! Hopefully not going through any more chemo cause if i do it's easier just shave it all off and start from scratch lol as always great video sweety imma be taking my notes to add to my rutine!! 💙💙
Thank you so much for your hair advice! I have really dry and damaged hair, and I hate feeling like I'm throwing money away on high end products that "claim" they are effective and ultimately aren't. Looking forward to trying some of these! You're the best. :)
Couple years ago this happened to me. I literally had like one inch of hair on the back of my head, because of over processing. It took forever for my hair to be healthy. Love your videos!
my stylist swears by the Surface brand. she lightened my hair with it and it was so healthy feeling afterwards and their awaken product line is definitely helping my fine and thin hair look fuller. I will defiantly be checking out that mixnature shampoo products.
Hello Milabu iam frm India , l also hav short hair. Here tools & techniques r bit different. Still like ur videos coz they teach me a lot every time see them .I like the way u carry urself as I see urs each video. Keep it up dear stay blessed, ...
Nobody dislikes Milabu's videos! Anyway, I do most of the same things but also use jojoba oil on my hair when it's still soaking wet and prior to styling products. It's supposed to products drying out the hair and helps seal in your other conditioners. Research it. I wouldn't be without it now, both for hair and skin. x
Hi Mila ❤ my hair was damaged a few years ago, I went to the salon for a balayage, and left with just boring blonde hair 😠 after 1 week it was breaking badly, the 3rd week I went to a different salon and had it cut from below my shoulders to a short bob, and went back dark to save what was left 🙁 I had beautiful hair before it all happened. Luckily Iv thick wavy hair 😊 coconut oil is a holy grail ❤ xx
I totally love your videos! I also have short hair since a few weeks and I was looking for good products and different ways to style my hair because they're not that voliminous. Then I found your channel and I love it! Your hair looks beautiful and voluminous although you use heat. You're such an inspiration to me and I'm excited to see more of you 😊
I really like the Joico Deep Reconstructor Deep conditioner, tons of keratin and protein and oils for really damaged hair. I treated my hair with it once a week for 2 months after I completely bleached/damaged my hair. Brought it back to normal and actually even softer. Another product I like is the Botugen Hair System. It comes with shampoo, hair mask, and a leave-in product that also works as a heat protectant. Their products are botanical, cruel-free, and meant to balance the pH level of your hair. It also has a crazy amount of keratin in it, so it's restorative. The hair mask I leave on for only 30 minutes, and my hair is always super soft and shiny afterwards. The leave in product is really moisturizing, attacks frizz, and also adds volume when you blowdry it in. Really great line. I bought the system at a hair show for $45, but regular price is more than $140
this is really weird because literally yesterday i told myself that i should start taking care of my hair better because it was getting dry, and then you upload this! like, someone out there is rooting for me XD
I CAN'T BELIEVE you did this video! I JUST started following your channel last week (love you btw) and last night I started researching hair products. I saw you using the bumble and bumble products and had them loaded in my cart but for some reason decided to wait to order. VOILA!!! A notification came up on my ipad that you just uploaded a video on haircare. BLEW MY MIND!! (Yes... I'm a 70's chick) Thank you thank you!
Hi Milabu! I have quite thin hair and I really want to strengthen it and prevent hair loss, I'd love to see you do a video on tips on these issues ❤😊 much love x
I love this video!!! I actually use the purology and briogeo rosarco!!! One tip I use from Beauty Blogger Angela Lanter, is to use a cotton t-shirt to dry my hair. Unlike towels it doesn't pull hair strands because it doesn't have the little finger like projection like towels do! Just a tip!
I just gotta say that you just keep getting better and better in your content, (and so does your hubby for making them with you) i like so much watching your videos and for real I don't miss any! Now, I just want some advice.. I have oily hair and also very thin, do you know if there's any volumizing shampoo that I could use to give some texture to my hair? And also anything that will help on preventing my hair to get so oily, because I literally wash it every single day I get to much oils and I hate it. I'll reallly appreciate your comments 🤗
Thank you so much for this video! You saved my hairs! Coco oil is the best solution for my hairs. Also I am breastfeeding and I lost a lot of hairs, but after I begin to use coco oil , my hairs are perfect! Thank you!
I also have a silk pillowcase. You just have to make sure you wash them often or you'll get all your old face oils on your skin because they pretty much don't absorb liquids lol. I just ordered the shampoo and conditioner along with a few other things to get the free shipping. It came out to 40 bucks for 4 products so it wasn't that bad actually! Thanks for the coupon code!
I love your videos! However I have a question, how did you managed to grow your baby hairs after you had damaged hair? I regularly deep condition my hair, use olaplex twice a month but still I can’t manage to grow my baby hairs (or really short hairs) all over my head. Please help!
Great tips. I'm trying to repair/grow out my hair after over-processing/bleaching and other issues. I also love Olaplex and will check out these other hacks. Thank you!
I have had problems with growing out my hair due to bleaching.. as much as I love blonde I've realized no amount of products will help the brakage so finally I've decided to color my hair once a year. So far its been 5 months but already I can tell the difference and I actually have baby hair growing in that broke from my previous trip to the salon. I guess what I wanted to add is that going natural as in not coloring/ no heat/ is the best for the hair health.
My hair looks like it's in about the same shape hers was with all the damage so I'm super excited to try the Mixnature products. I too have killed my hair through over processing and lately I hate the faded color I have but I'm taking a break from coloring it more and just want to try being super nice to it for a while lol. I just created my order and it's fun to pick what goes into each bottle plus they credit 10% of your purchase cost to your account to use on future purchases! Loving your channel by the way Milabu :)
Also, love the Olaplex No.3! Did you know there's an Aquage product that is a deep treatment for your hair just like Olaplex, that you can just spray in and leave for only 1 minute? It works wonderfully!
Coconut oil is the bomb, try it people, it works and also gets rid of dandruff and scaly scalp. Good on you Milabu for promoting a natural and affordable product.
Bumble and Bumble's Invisible Oil is awesome on damaged hair too. I had massive breakage over a year ago that my hair is still healing from, and the Invisible Oil tames the fly aways and damaged ends that are still growing out.
Thank you for another great video! I was thinking, when do you use overnigth maskes? The day before you wash your hair? Because on that day, my hair is very dirty so I can't see myself put a mask on top of the dry shampoo and stylingproducts I have in on that 3./4. day? Will you tell me how and when you do this? Thank you so much! Love from Denmark
+Karina Jensen For the overnight masks like oils, I will put them on my dirty hair because the next morning I shampoo and condition my hair per usual :)
Hi Milana 😁😁. Just one question. Is olaplex number 3 efficient even without using number 1 and 2? I want to buy it to help my damaged hair and I hope it works. Thank you. Ps. You're amazing I like all of your videos❤❤❤
My gosh, thank you soooo much for this video been looking for a cruelty free but also natural shampoo/conditioner for about a year now and the ones i did have left my hair feeling oily and sticky. But, can finally have one personalized for me. Thank you so much for this video it is such a big help!
Just found your channel. I love that you have short hair, this is my favourite kind for the last couple of years now! Also, really tempted to try custom shampoo and conditioner! Silk pillowcases, too. I heard about it, and in my head it makes perfect sense. As I am not washing my hair everyday, but it always feels more straw like in texture and shape in the mornings... I am going to give it a go :)
When I tried using coconut oil my hair stunk! Like bad! I had to wash it seven times with shampoo, to get the smell out, pretty much undoing anything the coconut oil did
I'd love to know some tips and tricks in regards to a flaky scalp, I feel like I've tried everything and the only way it feels fresh and healthy is after I wash it!
So how do you use deep conditioning hair masks? You wash your hair at night, you put the product on your hair and you rince it the day after? I have Mixnature hair mask and I leave it only for a few minutes but now I wonder if I use it correctly.
I am a heat lover too... and I may possibly be obsessed with colouring my hair. Black, red, blonde... all in the same year, and sometimes twice. Honestly I should just buy wigs at the rate I change my hair. Have I mentioned I have naturally dry and curly hair? Yeah, so add all that together and my hair is a hot hot mess! Now, if you listen carefully you will hear the angels sing!!! Biolage RAW deep conditioning treatment!!!!! 95% natural ingredients and it's the best deep conditioner that I have ever used... and I have used so many! It says leave in for 5 minutes... HA! I leave it in for no less than 20 and have left it in for an hour and my hair is soft! SOFT!!!! I also chelated my hair (made it rough at first but it's great to do every now and again to get rid of build up). Girl, please try this hair mask! It's so hydrating... like I want to go condition my hair right now! LOL!
Thank you so much for this video! I have watched every single one of your videos and I love them all - and you! This video specifically helps me as I can relate on every level! I am excited to try these products! I experience hair loss and am now using Nioxin 4 for fine hair. I have hair breakage - not sure about over-processed though. For the Mixnature shampoo and conditioner, what do you suggest the best combination be for my hair?
Hi! I love your videos! And more then anything your hair. It is amazing. I have over processed hair. Salon did me in. Even my regrowth is damaged! Anyway I got a protein mask and did an overload. So now I need to find a moisturizer to balance. Any suggestions???
hi love this really helps. do you use any tpe of coconut oil or is it an organic make same with the castor oil, ive been told honey and oatmeal type products are also nourushing can you recommend any ..?
much much needed video atleast for me! i am too going through bad hair b'coz of colouring..🤧 well i usually am using warm coconut oil mixed with almond oil and castor oil. it does make a difference. btw i just love ur videos n u.. love from India..😙😙
Deal Milania, i used to dye my hair greyish-white but now i'm sick of dyeing my roots.. i want to go back to my natural hair color which is dark blond. Should i dye it brown or should i use a toner? I'm not sure whether my white hair will accept any color 🤔
MILABU seriously loved ur video! U r my hair guru! Loved ur tips and tricks for dry and damaged hair I have them and I will try ur tips! Love u so much😘😘
I love love love your videos. I was wondering if you feel like the olaplex you get on amazon is the real deal. Some of the comments on there have said otherwise and I would hate to spend the money on it for it to be a dud. Keep up the good work! Thank you for all the wonderful hair ideas.
I would never recommend anything if I didn't think it was the real deal. I purchased Olaplex from Olaplex, hair salon and amazon and they were all exactly the same. Nothing was different. I've never had a bad experience. But make sure you read the reviews and if you don't feel comfortable, order from Olaplex. Even though Olaplex sell their products on Amazon as well :)
Hello Milana. Just one question.. is olaplex number 3 efficient even without using number 1 and 2? I want to buy it but I hope It works on my dry and broken hair
Totally random I'm sure you have mentioned before but what is you favorite flat iron I'm in search for one that doesn't damaged or tug at my hair like my current Chi.....but can also be used to make curls as well
Be careful with protein, you can protein overload your hair and it will snap off. I learned that the hard way by using coconut oil and a keratin treatment after getting an olaplex treatment.
we have the same type of hair ,I didn't know about the silk pillow case I will get thank you for the tip and I will get some of that product I wish you were around sooner when I had a terrible experience at a salon when they fried my hair love your tips and what you do keep up the great work ❤ hugs
I have SUPER thick, fine, and flat hair, it's also has SO MUCH static! I know dryer sheets help but because my hair is flat is kills any volume I have when I have to brush that through my hair. Recommendations? If you have any lol.
Have you tried the complete in salon Olaplex treatment? Have you ever heard of the dupe Pureplex in the drugstore? I'd love to know what you think of these products and whether the extra price of the salon product is worth it.!!
I see that you collaborated with MixNature for this post. Good to know, I had been a little confused about your comment about their vegan/cruelty-free status since I know you are not a vegan. I would think if that was important to you, diet and lifestyle would follow. :) Thanks for at least being transparent in the description box. Keep the great content coming!
I love how her channel is so unique. A billion other channels post the same content, and hairstyles, but her's are different and creative.
+BlueTech468 awww you're so sweet thank you! We really try to make our channel entertaining, fun and creative!! So I really appreciate it 💗
I just don't get why people dislike milabu's videos!!!
andreas harkos haters gonna hate lol
Just for that, I up voted
+andreas harkos can't please everyone 😜
+Elizabeth Mendes 🙌🏻
💁🏼 oh well ❤️

Oh my goodness; I tried the coconut trick last night and the results this morning were AMAZING! Thank you so much 😘😘
+Dean Road it really does wonders!!
I was just thinking about the amazing Milabu and then she uploaded a video
+andreas harkos awww you're so sweet!!!
Olaplex SAVED my breaking hair!! My stylist also puts it into my color. Amazing stuff!!!
+Laura Hargrave it really is incredible!!!
I also had problems with bleaching my hair (from my natural brown hair to a white blond) and although I dyed again with my natural color it was still damaged. But one day I found coconut oil and it was my salvation 😂 I really recommend it, good advices ❤️❤️
+Emma 엠마 yeah! Bleaching hair can be very horrible if you don't do it properly with great products! Right?! It's so amazing!
you are honestly the only person I trust with my hair omg I love you so much
I love that your reviews seem genuinely honest and like this is actually what you use in your hair. I can't stand when videos like this are so sponsored you can't even trust the youtuber and their opinion anymore. Thank you for this! 😁
+Kristin Houk aww thank you for that!! You're so kind ❤🤗
@milabu what mix ins do you add in your shampoo?
I love the tips and tricks you show in this video. Would also like to add that if you don't wash and blowdry your hair everyday, don't make it wet aswell. I have short fine and dyed hair that I only wash once a week. mila! eres la única youtuber que habla ingles que me encanta ver y recién descubrí tu canal, eres la mejor!!
it sucks that we all have to go through at least one bad experience hair wise in our lives! On the bright side we always come out wiser and more careful 💜 I had damage hair from years of chemo and on top of that I've always bleach and dye my hair... just last year i had blond, silver, lavender and finally went ashy brown ish lol im starting to be more careful with it and giving it some well deserved love! Hopefully not going through any more chemo cause if i do it's easier just shave it all off and start from scratch lol
as always great video sweety imma be taking my notes to add to my rutine!! 💙💙
+Kristall Ojeda right?! It's kind of like a right of passage hahah! Aww hope you're feeling/doing better babe! Sending lots of love ❤

Even when it was damaged, your hair is always perfection.
Would LOVE a video tute on how she cuts it!!!

All of these products look really cool and good for your hair but I'm broke af.😂
How cool is that, you can make your own shampoo, that sounds great
ALL of your hairstyle and hair care videos are so super helpful! thanks for the helpful videos!!!
+Linda Hublard that's so great! That's exactly what I want with my videos! So that makes me happy
this hair color fits you so much! i also finally let go of my bleache hair after 8 years, will never look back!just not worth it! :)

And also anything that will help on preventing my hair to get so oily, because I literally wash it every single day I get to much oils and I hate it.
I'll reallly appreciate your comments 🤗
+Orlette Rocha aww thank you so much! Try the mixnature products and create something just for what your hair needs :)

How do you sleep at night with your hair covered in castor or coconut oil?
+Mariana Vargas I put a towel over my pillow :)
Mila, you're so amazing! I'm gonna bleach my hair soon, and thanks to you, now i'm prepared!
+Veronika Regős yes, it's better to be prepared! Find a hair stylist that uses olaplex in your hair because it will save it!!
Milabu thank you!!
Ordered some mixnature immediately after this. What a neat product! You rock 😘
+LuLaRoe Dancie Sermon it's really incredible.
using egg with oil is also good for your hair it really worked for me !

Milabu - you are simply the best
+Julie Chantery aww you're so kind! Thank you!
Olaplex = ❤️
As has learning how to braid my hair (thanks to you) so I don't have to wash it every day.

+Mona. Hardik. Pitroda haha the things we do to our hair haha
Had no idea about the silk pillowcase! I'll definitely be getting myself one!
+Amber Mata it's incredible!!
Love u so much😘😘
+Ayisha Yousafzai thank you so much!! Love you too! 💕
I love the colour of your hair now!
I have often wondered why your hair didn't fall out...now I know...lol Thanks for sharing the products you use..Your hair look healthy...xooxo Loretta
Hello Milana. Just one question.. is olaplex number 3 efficient even without using number 1 and 2? I want to buy it but I hope It works on my dry and broken hair
Totally random I'm sure you have mentioned before but what is you favorite flat iron I'm in search for one that doesn't damaged or tug at my hair like my current Chi.....but can also be used to make curls as well
How often should you do the coconut oil treatment if your hair is very damaged and breaking
Be careful with protein, you can protein overload your hair and it will snap off. I learned that the hard way by using coconut oil and a keratin treatment after getting an olaplex treatment.
can you please explain the color you have in this video? This is the exact color that I'm going for! please and thanks love!❤
My hair is broken, so I will def try this!
+ZOE SKYE let me know how it goes :)

I have SUPER thick, fine, and flat hair, it's also has SO MUCH static! I know dryer sheets help but because my hair is flat is kills any volume I have when I have to brush that through my hair. Recommendations? If you have any lol.
Hi Milabu! I love your channel!
How many times per week do you recommend to use purple shampoo?
Thanks! x.
+a-roh I respect the vegan movement and I think they have a lot of great points! 🙌🏻👌🏻
Lush Rehab shampoo was amazing repairing my hair which is near enough the exact same as yours! The Veganese conditioner from Lush is amazing as well x
