      Yes it is and its very possible. There are tracks of land in Tassie still quite cheap!

    Benny, you did such a great job of capturing the peaceful beauty and rustic tranquillity. The way the personal and earthy words spoken by the owner were beautiful placed and paced with the video. This video was a work of art Benny. The lofty and airy shots balanced with the earthy narration. You certainly are good at what you do. 😊

    Absolutely gorgeous. I'm currently waiting to travel over to Tassie after lockdowns and wanting to settle around the Huon Valley.
    May I ask about your water? Is it purely from rainwater, or is there some running water on the property you pump up.
    Would love to visit your homestead sometime to just take in the amazingness of it all :)

    Hi editors.
    Can someone ask these mainlanders not to say "tree ferns". So disrespectful of the place they have chosen to move to. If you move somewhere, please repeat the local pronunciation and phraseology. Otherwise please adopt Southern California as your accent. (It's man fern in Tasmania).

    • @bennybnb
      @bennybnb  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Nick, I think you might best adhere to your own suggestion of being respectful - in general, because this comment certainly is not.

    • @nickabbott6278
      @nickabbott6278 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bennybnb Hey Ben, both bringing our own angle here. Both felt disrespected, mine was a gut reaction to decades of observing once unique Tasmanian words being replaced by people who have only recently moved here. Or moved here many years ago and don't adopt local naming. I do not claim to be Tasmanian, my family only arrived here just over 200 years ago, some by choice, some not. I, in no way intended disrespect to your creation, or the labours of your subject. Looking back it seems a sledge hammer for a tack.
      For me it was the, for me fingers on the blackboard and the feeling that if we don't say something to stand up for the things that set us apart, then we may as well adopt those Southern Californian accented words that I hear in the speech of many younger Australians.

    • @nickabbott6278
      @nickabbott6278 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Upon reflection, we all have triggers. Some are worth fighting for, some we lash out when maybe our words could have been more considered.
      You may choose to leave this in, but maybe my initial post and it's followup might be removed to preserve the integrity of your piece on this amazing lady and the paradise she has created for herself, family and friends.
      Nick
