    Those were some outstanding finds! All those wood chips of fossil wood! And those larger ones of the wood with the blue chalcedony are just amazing! I know people who have dug there for hours and didn't find as much or as good of pieces as you found! Phenomenal job Marc! What a dream, to hound in the blue forest! That was one of my bucket lists at places but my list has changed a lot because my handicap is bad enough that I can no longer walk around in places like the forest anymore, so I'm so happy to see people like you, do so well just walking around! Awesome job my friend! ❤

      I'm honored to still be able to walk around a bit and to do it and share it with you and others, Lisa!
      I'm sure I'll be heading back to Wyoming next year. Once it warms back up a little.. Bring the big trailer and the little dog. Something big from the Blue Forest is definitely on my wish list! :D

      Kinda curious myself to see what's in the one bigger chunk with the decent sized limb. Might be a while though..

      You are so welcome, Patricia! :D
      I make a wooden shelf like assembly to display the long glasses. I'll make a video showing it soon.

      @@camplapidary That is so neat. Do you add water to the jars?

    • @camplapidary
      @camplapidary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nope, no water. I'll make a photo post with the one display shelf I made. Pretty simple really.

      @@camplapidary I was thinking if you did add water you would need to seal them to keep the water clear.

    I use a specific technique for wire wrapping shards. I love them. Those are so colorful with the blues and lines in them. Love this material.

      I really like the rich red brown color they showed under the UV light. And they were fun and easy to collect!

      @@camplapidary Sometimes i wish there was a way to keep it the color under UV light lol.

    • @camplapidary
      @camplapidary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You could do a UV cabinet. Those seem pretty popular.

      @@camplapidary I did see something about a guy doing pendants with a light behind them.
