    Looks like Mike's always waiting at the top! Love the bark of that 250L. Had one for a short time too, nice bike but heavy.

      He is always waiting for me, sometimes I keep on his 6 to keep his ego in check. This was very early days in there for me, probably my second time in Mcnutt

    Nice clutch work. I don't think it would be fun to slide off one of those mossy plank bridges into the mess underneath it! Looked like fun. Good job fellas.

      They are both in Canada Billy Joe! Canada has some beautiful country and so does the U.S. in the places that are still wild. You do realize that Canada is still America right? North America.

    Great videa, good riding, and such a cool place to ride! Have you thought about ditching those blinkers or do you need them in your state?

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Need them for plated riding, there are aftermarket smaller ones but i'd rather spend money for other thing on the bike.

    • @weride8166
      @weride8166 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh shit I didn't see that you were in Canada! and we don't need blinkers here, just a headlight, taillight, and a single mirror!

    • @weride8166
      @weride8166 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I think I'm going to pick up the trail double takes!

    • @jnb894
      @jnb894 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We also only need what its also required for you @WeRide 816 for trail riding (only) in Canada. But if you want to get on the street, you need those blinkers as well!

    Very nice single track. I assume that is out west Washington state? I am here in the big state of SC. Would love to ride my WR250 there. Great video and riding.

    Wow this is some heavy terrain! Any mod on that CRF? I'm looking for a 2017L for next year (actually owning a 250 Rally) or maybe the "new" KLX 250.

      J N B not a lot here in this vid, exhaust and fuel controller only, but in later vids I have full Racetech suspension and lightened the bike up.

    • @jnb894
      @jnb894 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh still, exhaust and fuel controller is pretty good upgrade imo, how much was it? Would you buy again a 250L if you had the choice? New suspension? Must be expensive af!

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      J N B racetech cost 2k cdn installed , once upgraded the bike was good but still the ground clearance was not what I needed and the heavy weight for where I rode so I sold it and got a Husqvarna.

    • @jnb894
      @jnb894 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dual Sport Enduro Oh! Getting an Husky is a step forward but in an other direction for trail riding (not the same type of bike at all if we compared that from a 250L for a WR250R) Thanks for the reply!

    stock front and rear sprockets on the CRF or wich sprockets are you using in this video?
    i really like the capability of the CRF

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ramiretz that was my early days with the bike, think I had 13/40 sprockets there. Later videos I changed it to 13/44 and replaced the suspension with racetech

    • @ramiretz
      @ramiretz 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you for the answer... i think about to put a 45 or 48 rear sproket. you dont have any problems with the chain slider on the swingarm with a13 sproket on the front? i ask because Woodzman mention it will wear down the chainslide with a 13 sproket .... any truth behind this ????? th-cam.com/video/fvuwe8httMs/w-d-xo.htmlm38s

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had to modify the rear chain guide to fit the 44 tooth, the front i never saw any wear in 5k kms.

      When You were running the 13 44 combo what would your top speed be? I would guess not much over 67 to 70.

    Nice riding! Impressed the Honda handled all that. It gets ripped on a lot. Too soft of suspension, more street than dirt, etc. I'm seeing some good stuff from your video though. What tires you running?

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pirelli Scorpion XCMH, not sure if i had those on yet in this video think those were stockers. Since then I have also done the Racetech suspension

      What kind of difference has the suspension made? I'm going to do the same.

    • @efrey614

      I raced motocross from when I was 12 until I was about 20 and I could really rip on my crf250r. However I can still rip pretty decently on my crf250l. A good rider can be fast on anything. The crf250l's limitations are its weight and suspension. On a trail without large jumps the bike will go just about anywhere and as fast as you can twist the throttle. A lot of guys who rag on the L couldn't ride it to its full potential anyway. I own one and love it, I doubt I will ever get rid of it. I can outride this bike, but I know that and I still have a great time. Tires are a big one as well just like you asked. The stock front tire will get you hurt on slightly wet dirt. For the riding I do I found that the Kenda k270's handle well on the road and in the dirt while lasting a decent time. With that said, as wet as it is in this video if I were riding in those conditions a lot I would prob use something besides the k270's they are not real great in the mud, but miles better than stock.

    • @efrey614
      @efrey614 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also want to know how much of a difference Racetech makes, and if it still behaves well on the road after the upgrade. This is something I am thinking about doing. It will prob be my last mod to this bike everything else including comfort mods are done, besides Racetech and a 305 big bore kit and the 305 is not something I am interested in because of reliability issues. I will keep this bike forever I love it and have a lot into it, but eventually I may add a high strung, high maintenance dual sport to the stable. The Crfl will always be there for when the other bike is down. Do You have a Crf250l Paul?

    I just got one of these as a bike to ride to the dirt so it'll spend 90% of its life offroad and i'm wondering how the turn signals and mirrors will hold up to simply dropping it or something. I've got a honda grom and they appear to be the same signals and when I wrecked my grom at like 30 I fucked shit up, I don't even know where half my turn signal disappeared too and I'm worried I'm gonna be constantly replacing the 20 dollar signals.

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will see the later vids of mine i ditched them for some other ones that are ram mounts and adjustable fold able mirrors.

    • @nicholstop8161
      @nicholstop8161 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      which ones you get I might buy some myself when I snap off mine, I've only put like 2 miles on mine next weekend I'll do some riding and they probably won't survive.

    • @SingleTrackTherapy
      @SingleTrackTherapy  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Double Take mirrors, practically indestructible with a return policy if you do destroy them.

    • @nicholstop8161
      @nicholstop8161 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dual Sport Enduro I figured out where I live and in most states its legal to just take off mirrors so I’m prob gonna do that because I tried to get to some of my favorite trails last weekend and the mirrors stuck out and I couldn’t fit through even with them folded in so I’m just gonna take em off I think.
