I also have my family's Hitachi TV that they purchased in the early 90's. I salvaged it from a storage shed last fall and fired it up for the first time in maybe 15 year's, it worked like a charm. It's currently in my game room hooked up to the majority of my retro systems.
Ya frames for your posters really makes a difference! All my posters on the walls in my game room are framed, but I also like hanging posters on the ceiling, so I use Gorilla Glue putty to hang them, that stuff is great, I use it for quite a few things, doesn't ruin anything as far as I can tell, leaves the paint on the wall, and has a real strong grip depending on how much you use.

You need to hang more things on your blank walls. Find them at garage sales, conventions, Walmarts and other game stores. Walmart does sell posters and poster frames.

Sadly the area where i live the goodwills don't sell video games they send everything to goodwill auction, thift store and pawn shops see the a ps4 or xbox one very rarely, in the hundreds of yard sales in my area ive found 1 ds game thats it. I live in the part of Washington state where no one was into video games or something. I love watching retro rick and a bunch of others collectors find cool stuff all the time. That brings me to my collection I collect and pay alot of the times full price ill get bundle deals on mercari or ebay. I have a video on my TH-cam channel of where my mancave was coming along months ago before I unpacked everything and started cleaning my consoles out. The wife gave me the whole downstairs family room right outside my original mancave bedroom.

I don't have an updated video of what my mancave looks like now but I was able to get my nes and snes cleaned out and organized on the nintendo shelf. About 3 times a year the wife and I drive to a town about 3 hours away and we hit the pawn stores, games stores and yard sales hard to find the little gems!

Man seeing that copy of Earthbound brings back a time I found a loose copy in a retro game store. I was pretty upset because it was $150 which at the time I couldn't afford it. I would have bought it without question if I could. Maybe one day lol
Very nice. I like the flooring. Ive been wanting to do a similar style. Ive been doing the same as you for about the same length of time. One thing I have found is ANY kind of game cartridge has disappeared! Wii (except WiiU, very rarely), Xbox 360 disks are the most common. Then PS3, PS2, and original Xbox and PS1. Gamecube ocassionally. Dreamcast rarely. PS4 more often than Xbox One, dont find either very often. Im talking garage sales, estate sales, and thrift stores.

I originally bought them on PS4 and played/platinumed them there. Then I decided to go for the full Wii U set and had to get them all on there as well.

"PlayStation O.N.E" is how a lot of collectors refer to the second model of the PS1 to distinguish them since the official name of that model is the PSOne spelled out.
@@ObjoGaming the first big grey block the one you said was a bit meh, that's just Playstation, or some now call it PSX 🤷♀️ it's a bit like the PS2 slim, except they said One for a fresh relaunch as the original PS had been out atleast 5yrs by then & it came out with all new gadgets too. I just which playstations retailed at £199.99 again with 5 games & 2 controllers, rather then £649 with 2 controllers & 2 games & a compatible wireless headset. Hell I think my ps2 slim with eye toy Antigrav & 2 controllers only cost me £299.99. Gone so expensive. Would say get the new xbox SX for underneath the ps5, but I don't think it would fit, defo won't fit in the cubes. I upgraded from Xb1x so not seeing much difference, interface all still same, I dnt buy games for it as we have ultimate pass for 2yrs. My son says there's a difo between forza 4 & 5 on the 2 consoles... I dnt see it, although my TV is nrly 15yr old now, so maybe that's why. Wish I had room for a games room tbh, instead they're all in my livingroom. Have a look at Pop mounts for your ambio' to go on the gurder. It's an option for other then wood planks. Also a RGB strip light would be nice to light them up with & help with the gaming mood lol

Get a PSP from Japan they are region free plus they treat their system better then the US. I know since I got a vita OLED and vita slim in super mint condition looking brand new from eBay.
I have plans to go back to Japan at some point and a PSP is on the top of my list of things to get. Hopefully one of their cool special editions we didn't get here.

It isn't repro actually, Amazon sold normal cases for both games under the "standard edition" when they both released. They're both official.
