Pretty much miles morales is everything a spin off game should be. One thing that I love about it is how different miles feels from Peter especially in swinging. Just feels soo wild and u can tell he’s still new at it
Not to sound rude but I don't know how they could mess up with Miles difference, having more abilities than Peter (venom electric & air dashing, along with faster swinging). Compared to other spideys, Miles really has no weaknesses and is beyond Vanilla to begin with.

Imagine for example he didn't have the air dashing, or he still had all of Peter's gadgets, or he didn't swing faster, or if the venom punch was only for finishers, or they didn't add new swinging animations.

This game is an amazing(pun intended) sequel. I was worried that they were going to kill off Peter Parker in this game but thankfully they team up in this. It’s really cool that they act like brothers in this story and I have a feeling that it’s going to be even better in Spiderman 2!! Also i’m glad you remember the “exaggerated swagger” review. In one ultimate Spider-Man comic book he’s temporarily dead but it’s revealed he was alive all along(then he leaves the scene for a while). I’m just saying that it’s really cool to see Peter Parker get some back up in a new story.

The main story is actually probably the one thing I didn't like, it was still pretty solid but there was some questionable writing choices and its pretty short. I honestly like to think of this game as a DLC of the first game tbh.

The cat suit is the best, sucks that you need to beat the game to unlock it. You get to carry Spider-man in a backpack complete with his own spider mask and when you do certain finishers the cat jumps in for support. When you new game+ you get to enjoy it in all its glory in cutscenes.
When I am playing this, I do it like a psychopath. Like Falcon Punching thugs off buildings, reenacting a non self-lethal version of Vegeta's Final Explosion just so much more to terrify thugs. Many thugs did die....but it was a sacrifice I was willing, gladly and joyfully was willing to make.

for some reason i never connected it. in spiderman ps4 one of the miles missions in sneaking around while rhino tries to kill you. kinda fitting intro for the game. i love this game dude. swinging in this felt a little more satisfying than spiderman

I thought I was the only one with the contrast of piss yellow and a little bid of blood. Its like a tad tinted orange maybe its the wall color. The developers created a realistic color palette of how the wall would reflect the lights. Its awful and I'm happy its a short lived experience.
