Props for reenacting the trailer! Did you never block with _the shield_ because the trailer person got grabbed when they tried? :D Dueling shield gives you so many tools to benefit from blocking: you block passively during windup of charged R2s, the R1 string has block frames after each attack if you delay the next one, there's a unique passive block attack, you could integrate the deflect tear and do guard counters. Only rolling with such a unique weapon in your hands for this video is a bummer
@@HaronYoungerBro Thanks for commenting bro. I love the dueling shield move set too, but I set my character to 1hp because I try to do the fight without taking damage. This sucks because Messmer attacks come with chip damage in the form of fire so i would’ve died if I had attempted to block. I might consider showcasing unique weapon movesets on bosses in the future though
