Hey everyone it’s me Jordan from the video! I wasn’t able to make a recording session for voice over but I feel it’s valuable to talk on some points as featured in the video. First off, I had a great time playing this round and recording it. I think this will be a neat progression segment and great way to involve Chris’ viewers (you) in rounds through the future. Speaking of the future, my goal for the immediate future, end of 2024 is to increase my rating to 830. I think it’s going to be challenging but definitely possible if I continue to play well above my rating in tournaments. I have at least one tournament in mind for each month to end the year so I’ll have plenty of opportunity to do so. I think my success will depend on my commitment to improving parts of my game. I have been practicing daily and on the day to day I have been focusing on achieving more distance. Not just accurate distance but doing so with smoother reproducible form to conserve energy and ultimately improve my score. It’s important to have good all around game but I think it’s more important to take pressure off the rest of your game (approaching and putting) by driving well. I am not going to neglect the other aspects, I am simply prioritizing driving drills, while still practicing approach and putt shots. I’m motivated and looking forward to developing as a player.
