You can definitely tell the 80s run was running out of steam once 1986 hit (right after the champagne/cork Whammy)- just seven new Whammies were introduced that year.

Top favorites in the Whammy! GSN version: Riverdance Whammy, Backstreet Whammies, The Weakest Whammy, Judge Whammy, Ozzy Whammy, Out of Range Whammy (Can you hear me now?), and the Tarzan Whammy. WAIT A MINUTE....some of the later 80s Whammies have the higher pitched voice when I remember them having Bill's lower Whammy voice. The doctor and judge are examples of this.
The ‘lower’ part occurred when Bill’s voice was changing.
