Casey is an inspiration, i weighed 350 when i was a kid and i lost it all because of hard work and seeing stories like his, I'm much happier than i was and i encourage others too keep striving, it's possible so never give up.
As an overweight man, these stories are so inspiring to me. Knowing that these people were able to make amazing changes in their lives gives me hope for my future.

Giving uncompromising support instead removes the sense of pressure on overweight people that they aren’t good enough. Paradoxically, that helps them lose it by their own volition, not due to societal expectations.
My aunt had a similar transformation. She was well over 400 lbs (wouldn't be shocked if she was over 500) and within 8 months she was down to 130lbs, and 11 years later she's still looking great.
While that is awesome, I feel like 8 months may have been rushing it a little, I'm sure the excess skin and body may have benefitted from a more patient journey, but when at that weight a heart attack is always a risk so I can't blame her.
Christina was for sure the most emotional one for me when I saw the 600-lb life on tv, she went from being extremely obese to way too thin, she almost went from one food addiction to another and she was only drinking protein drinks not even food anymore, she weighed herself every 10 min cause she never wanted to be that big again. At the end she did manage to overcome it but, she was never going to eat fast food again even if she could maintain weight with it.

I've struggled with ed, being underweight my whole life, the weighing yourself every 10 mins hits lol. Also, you gotta strip every bit of clothing off to weigh yourself ofc. Never do it after drinking anything or after a shower... I'm pretty good now! I just keep myself underweight on the bmi because brain worms. I once got so bad I lost like half my hair and I feel it never recovered 😢

I went through a very hard time a few years ago, everything that could go wrong did go wrong and I was done with life, I'm still alive luckily, but my stomach was ruined after and I have to use meds for life, unless I want to be in agonizing pain, even though this is a big part of my life now, I am alive and I survived. We don't have to think about the past or future but the now, how are we today not yesterday or tomorrow. You have fought against your brain and that's something to be proud of, I know this sounds very sappy and stuff but it's good to hear it.

Yes exactly. He's much like an addictions counselor. I guess binge eating disordsr IS a form of addiction but im meaning like drug addiction. I'm a recovering addicts.. 5 years clean. But he's so much like the doctors for addicts...in the beginning when j was still using and struggling to get clean...thats how they treated me. They didn't accept any excuses I made cause that's what they were. Excuses and not legitimate reasons for using like I had thought at the time. Doctors like this are the ones that SAVE lives. ❤

Im also on a weight loss journey myself. I hit a weight of 140kg/308lbs last year then i had enough. now after 6 months of trying to lose weight, I currently weigh 121kg/266lbs. My original goal is 100kg and im 100% going to hit that goal and crush it. my whole mentality has changed about eating junk. i might update this comment later in the year if i remember

I’m currently on a weight loss journey obviously not as extreme as 600 pound life, but at my heaviest I was over 300 and I’ve lost a little over 120 pounds in the past 2 years and still loosing, and this gives me strength to continue Im about 40 poundish till my goal weight.
The most crazy drastic weight loss I've seen on the show was early on, from 2013. Dude named Henry Foots, he got up to 715 lbs. But now he's down to less than 100. Absolute transformation. 💯

It’s these people combined with how I was feeling when I turned 40 that made me get off my ass and start walking even if it was initially only for 15 before I had to stop. Started out at 365. 2 years later and after a lot of small changes over time I’m 240, still have 60-70 that I want to lose. I feel younger, no high blood pressure, no longer pre-diabetic. Just happy to be headed in the right direction
The only thing that irks me about comparisons of before and after weight loss situations, is that there's almost always an implication that the individual is deserving of more love and respect because they're thinner. You're neither superior nor inferior to another person because of your weight, human lives have intrinsic value regardless of if someone is healthy or not. Edit: I'd like to add that only being nice to fat people once they lose weight cause you think they're more attractive is a scummy thing to do. None of this is about Caleb btw, I love his channels and his videos make me laugh all the time, this is more a general statement about shows and videos that boil an entire person's identity down to their appearance or their health. People are people, treat them that way and less like a spectacle.

I may not be 600lbs but I’m 14 5’5 and in the 200lbs range. I’ve always tried to lose weight but never sticker to my goals. I want to go to the gym but nobody seems to be able to take me and whenever I try to work out at home, I always just lose motivation. Videos like this encourage me so much but it’s so rare I see them 😢

I used to drink 200oz of water a day. I got into the habit of forcing myself to drink to avoid dehydration when I was outside a ton in severe heat.
