Every time this Commisson plays a *trick* and does something which is beyond expectations for serious aspirants. Just have a look at the timeline of *tricks* played by this commission from 2017 onwards, you will get an idea. So my suggestion is if you are new in this field, don't prepare for this unpredictable, luck based, *SSC* exam, because you might regret later.
Everyone has their reason behind taking decision in life. For example student like me preparing since 2018 has no other option but to crack the exam. Now I cannot turn back and give up. I have to do it.

I am quite shocked to see the Cut Off now. Being a post graduate in statistics I have cleared the exam thrice during 2010- 2012. Got posting twice at Nanded and Faridkot for Junior Statistical Officer. But refused to go. As I got another job(Clerical) in my home city which is so near to my home. Only reason is non- transferable and home city. But in my times the cut off is way too low compared to today. The competition is so high.
At that time sources for preparation are very low and in recent times u can get most of the best content free and there are lot of sources to prepare so obviously cutoff will go high

For general category middle class family student.... prepare for government competition only when you are intelligent in studies since your childhood or ready to do 10- 12+ hours consistent study for years... don't prepare under peer pressure
CGL 2019 broke me as well. 534/600 became 483/600. I was gaming which post to chose(even if from bottom) but on 19 feb I was out of the game.If felt like being sentenced to death after being pardoned.For months I had dreams of being blind,crying, cursing in Future until I had to raise it with my psychiatrist.Yes my depression got worsened and all the pills I popped for SSC were wasted.Is is not easy for you to take sleeping pills,bear them and sit for an exam like SSC.The whole journey became a nightmare.I wish I can torch that building alight.If there is pakistan in India then it's in CGO complex.
Don't lose hope glad I left it early and doing job , just start something new which you think can do also keep preparing side by side eventually with time you will know what you deserve

Don't underestimate urself by saying u r below avg, if u have chosen to be with this exam, fight persistently. It's is very practical to remain positive and be patient. Still I'm preparing for competitive exams. Tuition kar rha hu khud ka books ka kharcha uthane ke liye, recently My state Police SI ka written clear hua tha, my written score was +20 more than cut off mark but unfortunately I got rejected because of .5 millimeter less height. Now I'm preparing for my state pcs. Quit karne ki nhi socha hai. Without coaching, without family or back support abhi vi battle mein khada hoon. Bro. I never comment on videos but I have almost the same story as you apart from the fact that I didn't score good in maths. I am the only person in SSC history who got 30 in GS and 20 in Maths. I swear I never studied anything apart from Maths and some GS. Studied GS in the last month only. Never even touch English, still got 45. I am so broken but not in a state that I'll harm myself contemplating about this stupid traumatising cycle. Even I am done with this vicious cycle of trauma. I need to move on in life. I'm also done with SSC. But let's see if I give CET again.
I quited it after almost 4 years efforts .. only able to Reach cgl 2 times doc stage didnt get job.... Two times chsl doc verfction still didnt get... I want to forget everything... But my lifes precious year will not come back 😔😔

good decision, i have also left ssc prep , i gave only one attempt. I was more interested in arts subject and teaching. Now I am ugc net qualified and will pursue my PhD. I became part of rat race without second thought.Now glad I got my senses back.

I was preparing for this with a job Thankfully I still have the IT job after giving 4 yrs to this. Max I reached 608 in 2019 gen category. I have maxed. Now I am concentrating on IT. That's it. I prepared on my own with mocks and everything. I don't consider myself less, I just took this decision overnight. I don't deserve to be treated like this, and phir gen candidate ki to alag hi kahani hai is desh mein, so...

@@whosdeepak_knowhim I don't think this is a wise decision. Yes Ssc takes time but it's worth it. From failing for 3 times in a row in chsl to clearing all ssc exams (mts chsl and cgl 2019. (Score 662/700). And I am also from non maths background. So If you work hard you will get what you want.

Mujhe bhi dec 21 se 3 saal ho jaynge ssc and gov exams ko diye, kuch nhi hua abi tk, ab mai bhi change kar rahi hu path. I am from Engineering background and now i will focus on that, abi se hi private job dhudhna shuru kar diya hai. I know compare nhi karna chaiye kisi se but mere sath jo padhe hai unse khi na khi comparison ho hi jata hai unki salary ab 50,000 approx ho gyi but mai phr se ab as a fresher start kr rahi hu starting salary bhi pta ni kitte se start hogi. Disheartened, Demotivated ho jati hu. Upar se breakup alag ho gya vo bhi aage badh gya. so har mamle me zindagi barbad si hi lagti i know barbad hai ni ek din sab thik ho jayega still feel low low. Don't know kab sab thik hoga.

If you are getting rank between 10000 and 20000 that means if you are getting rejected in final merit Then one day you will definitely fetch a job through ssc You would have never been told that approx 90% candidates clearing cgl have prepared for 3-4 years So keep patience
We people from general category doesn't dream a ssc job .things are needed to change ,such this reservation system. Efforts that make by an aspirants are same, there is no seperate questions asked for general category. Anyway let's pray for our children's better future without this system

I work 10 hrs per day in my shop and after that approx 6 hrs I prepare for cgl and I'm preparing for it from 3 yrs and I'm so depressed that I have not other options. And my family also pushing me for marriage but I don't want to get married. I just want a job don't know what to do. But I have no extra time for other exam.

भाई आपने बिलकुल मेरी ही कहानी लगता है सुना दी। मेरा भी पहला अटेम्प्ट 2019 CGL ही था। मैं भी एवरेज स्टूडेंट था और नॉन मैथ बैकग्राउंड था। मैथ स्टार्ट करने के लिए मैंने भी खुद से ncert 4th या 5th class की बुक से स्टार्ट करी थी, पार्टिकुलर्ली फैक्टर एंड मल्टिपल्स से शुरू किया था। खुद ही से लगभग 7 महीने में 10th तक की मैथ मैंने एकबार खत्म कर दी थी। फिर कोचिंग के लिए मुखर्जी नगर भी आया। यहां पीजी में भी कुछ महीने रहा, फिर कोरोना 1st फेज में घर आना पड़ा। 5-6 महीने बाद फिर से पीजी गया, फिर कोरोना 2nd फेज में फिर से आना पड़ा। इस बार वापिस आने का एक और ठोस कारण था परिवार पर गहराता - आर्थिक संकट। इसके बाद फिर नहीं जा पाया। घर से ही तैयारी की 2020 CGL और chsl की। लेकिन हम सब जानते हैं कि घर में रहकर कितनी पढ़ाई हो पाती है। दोनों एक्जाम बेकार गए। एक ही होप था mts2020। MTS बहुत आसान आता है पता था, फिर भी इसकी खूब तैयारी करी। टेस्टबुक के मॉक्स देता था प्रीवियस ईयर्स 2019 वाले। एवरेज नंबर भी 80 के आसपास ही रहते थे। लेकिन एक दिन... एग्जाम डेट आ गई थी, पॉजिटिवली एक्साइटिड भी था एग्जाम से पहले। लेकिन जब एग्जाम देकर हॉल से बाहर आया तो एकदम शॉक्ड। पेपर बेकार गया बहुत, इतना कि जिसकी कल्पना भी नहीं की थी मैंने। 3-4 साल की मेहनत, फैमिली,फ्यूचर और न जाने क्या क्या सब कुछ जैसे सिर के ऊपर घूम रहे थे। तब से मैं दो तीन दिन तक डिप्रेशन में रहा। तभी से मैने भी मन बना लिया कि I will quit it. क्योंकि ये पॉसिबल ही नहीं है कि सबका सिलेक्शन हो ssc के किसी भी एग्जाम में क्योंकि वेकेंसी ही बहुत कम है और अभ्यर्थी लाखों में। इसीलिए I'm moving on...

CGL 2019 broke me as well. 534/600 became 483/600. I was gaming which post to chose(even if from bottom) but on 19 feb I was out of the game.If felt like being sentenced to death after being pardoned.For months I had dreams of being blind,crying, cursing in Future until I had to raise it with my psychiatrist.Yes my depression got worsened and all the pills I popped for SSC were wasted.Is is not easy for you to take sleeping pills,bear them and sit for an exam like SSC.The whole journey became a nightmare.I wish I can torch that building alight.If there is pakistan in India then it's in CGO complex.
Don't lose hope glad I left it early and doing job , just start something new which you think can do also keep preparing side by side eventually with time you will know what you deserve

Tuition kar rha hu khud ka books ka kharcha uthane ke liye, recently My state Police SI ka written clear hua tha, my written score was +20 more than cut off mark but unfortunately I got rejected because of .5 millimeter less height. Now I'm preparing for my state pcs. Quit karne ki nhi socha hai. Without coaching, without family or back support abhi vi battle mein khada hoon. Bro. I never comment on videos but I have almost the same story as you apart from the fact that I didn't score good in maths. I am the only person in SSC history who got 30 in GS and 20 in Maths. I swear I never studied anything apart from Maths and some GS. Studied GS in the last month only. Never even touch English, still got 45. I am so broken but not in a state that I'll harm myself contemplating about this stupid traumatising cycle. Even I am done with this vicious cycle of trauma. I need to move on in life. I'm also done with SSC. But let's see if I give CET again.

@@whosdeepak_knowhim I don't think this is a wise decision. Yes Ssc takes time but it's worth it. From failing for 3 times in a row in chsl to clearing all ssc exams (mts chsl and cgl 2019. (Score 662/700). And I am also from non maths background. So If you work hard you will get what you want.

Mujhe bhi dec 21 se 3 saal ho jaynge ssc and gov exams ko diye, kuch nhi hua abi tk, ab mai bhi change kar rahi hu path. I am from Engineering background and now i will focus on that, abi se hi private job dhudhna shuru kar diya hai.
I know compare nhi karna chaiye kisi se but mere sath jo padhe hai unse khi na khi comparison ho hi jata hai unki salary ab 50,000 approx ho gyi but mai phr se ab as a fresher start kr rahi hu starting salary bhi pta ni kitte se start hogi. Disheartened, Demotivated ho jati hu. Upar se breakup alag ho gya vo bhi aage badh gya. so har mamle me zindagi barbad si hi lagti i know barbad hai ni ek din sab thik ho jayega still feel low low. Don't know kab sab thik hoga.

I work 10 hrs per day in my shop and after that approx 6 hrs I prepare for cgl and I'm preparing for it from 3 yrs and I'm so depressed that I have not other options. Bro , I just want to say that ...kisi ko offend nhi krunga , agar aapna 350+ mocks pre ke nhi diye ,you can't expect marks above 150 in pre...ye mera experience h mera first attempt tha, general category 171.5 raw 13th aug 1st shift cgl 2020...it's all about practice aur practice mtlb 350+ mocks, kyuki uske baad final exam me reasoning ke que tough lgte h to yhi bolte h bnde ki " pta nhi kya ho gya tha"

भाई आपने बिलकुल मेरी ही कहानी लगता है सुना दी। मेरा भी पहला अटेम्प्ट 2019 CGL ही था। मैं भी एवरेज स्टूडेंट था और नॉन मैथ बैकग्राउंड था। मैथ स्टार्ट करने के लिए मैंने भी खुद से ncert 4th या 5th class की बुक से स्टार्ट करी थी, पार्टिकुलर्ली फैक्टर एंड मल्टिपल्स से शुरू किया था। खुद ही से लगभग 7 महीने में 10th तक की मैथ मैंने एकबार खत्म कर दी थी। फिर कोचिंग के लिए मुखर्जी नगर भी आया। यहां पीजी में भी कुछ महीने रहा, फिर कोरोना 1st फेज में घर आना पड़ा। 5-6 महीने बाद फिर से पीजी गया, फिर कोरोना 2nd फेज में फिर से आना पड़ा। इस बार वापिस आने का एक और ठोस कारण था परिवार पर गहराता - आर्थिक संकट।
इसके बाद फिर नहीं जा पाया। घर से ही तैयारी की 2020 CGL और chsl की। लेकिन हम सब जानते हैं कि घर में रहकर कितनी पढ़ाई हो पाती है। दोनों एक्जाम बेकार गए। एक ही होप था mts2020।
MTS बहुत आसान आता है पता था, फिर भी इसकी खूब तैयारी करी। टेस्टबुक के मॉक्स देता था प्रीवियस ईयर्स 2019 वाले। एवरेज नंबर भी 80 के आसपास ही रहते थे। लेकिन एक दिन...
एग्जाम डेट आ गई थी, पॉजिटिवली एक्साइटिड भी था एग्जाम से पहले। लेकिन जब एग्जाम देकर हॉल से बाहर आया तो एकदम शॉक्ड। पेपर बेकार गया बहुत, इतना कि जिसकी कल्पना भी नहीं की थी मैंने।
3-4 साल की मेहनत, फैमिली,फ्यूचर और न जाने क्या क्या सब कुछ जैसे सिर के ऊपर घूम रहे थे। तब से मैं दो तीन दिन तक डिप्रेशन में रहा। तभी से मैने भी मन बना लिया कि I will quit it. क्योंकि ये पॉसिबल ही नहीं है कि सबका सिलेक्शन हो ssc के किसी भी एग्जाम में क्योंकि वेकेंसी ही बहुत कम है और अभ्यर्थी लाखों में। इसीलिए I'm moving on...
