surprised at how tight tom's bass is! normally his playing is kinda sloppy

It's a studio recording. They get those as tight as possible.

@@MetalPersonJ i know, but even in studio recordings, his bass tracks are usually fairly sloppy. see the isolated bass of Raining Blood as an example
