While I’m still glad that she left, for me it has more impact when it’s a one-and-done kinda deal. But I am super happy that once she leaves she stays absolutely firm on her decision. And that freaking amnesia plot! They bug me normally, but they took it to a new low when everyone she loves and trusts was keeping the truth from her for her “own good” 🙄, but meanwhile letting her go with a known psycho abuser. That’s when the parents and the best friend lost me. (The FL’s mom and her comment about thinking he’d changed! Ugh! 😒) Thank goodness for the ML’s sister! Turns out she’s the rockstar of the whole show!! 😜

This is the 3rd remake I've seen done of this specific script, and I like all 3 versions. The FLs and the MLs were great. and so were the SMLs and SFLs. Applause to the cast for all 3 versions. The writers mixed this version, they added more humor, amnesia, pregnant mistress, class reunion, pregnant FL, and some parts from the last 2 versions. For instance, the ML getting hurt, obnoxious mother and father in-law etc. Good Movie to watch. 😂🥰
They lost me with the amnesia plot towards the end… there was no need for it. And the parents and friends letting the FL go back with the ex while she had amnesia, I’ll never forgive that… this made me so mad. 😡

This is my first time watching this male lead in a positive shade and as a supportive husband. He is the one who usually abuses or cheats the female leads in other dramas. A good change for him. This female lead is a doormat. She is hit and slapped by her fiancé many times and still she stays with him. Even the male lead’s mother slaps her in the hospital and she just bears it. And what is this hitting and slapping culture in Chinese dramas? It is in every other Chinese drama and they are trying to normalise hitting people who are lower than them. We are in the generation where hitting children in order to discipline them is considered a serious issue which may affect their growth and development. But in Chinese dramas anyone can hit, hurt, abuse, violate, humiliate, kidnap, rape, drug or even murder anyone. Are there any laws and regulations there? Are there police men and judiciary officials to take care of law and order. Because anyone can do any crime and the highest punishment given to them is sending them to abroad.
Most of these skits are adapted from web novels... and many web novels are no better than trashy fanfics. Highly dramatic but unrealistic scenarios that exist only in the fantasies of the so-called 'writer'. But the more improbable, the more people will watch just to get a kick out of 'scolding' or 'supporting' the characters. Drama is big business everywhere. LOL. Also, agree about Min Jie playing positive roles like this. I think those who started by playing villains or supporting roles should be given more opportunities for lead roles. Many are pretty good in terms of talent and appearance. Their acting skills just need further polishing.

Not only is the 2ML in this one crazy looking, he genuinely worse than the other versions. Unnecessary amnesia and misunderstanding. Why tf would the parents let her think she was in love with the abusive 2ML when she was pregnant…This one is mediocre overall, watch the others before this.

The green teas have been casted in this drama and it's nice seeing them not playing villains for once.
