very good.... best plan i've seen... am able to adapt to my need to run a circle and still have a point to point. Had to change from N, eyes and fingers not so good now....great site
@@brucerudd9562 hi. Thanks! I gave up N as well.. but about 45 years ago. Then HO. Then O and On3. Now F. The eyes get worse and the scale gets bigger.
AWESOME GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU VERY GOOD INFORMATIVE POST ABOUT TRACK PLANS YOU BOTH ARE TRUE CRAFTSMAN AND ARE AWESOME GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU BOTH FOR YOUR EFFORT AND TIME JIM KAMMERER OF PHILADELPHIA PA 👍 😀 😊
Dale I did find this informative and gave me all kinds of ideas. I have been trying to figure out a modular layout and I believe I have come up with it. Sorry I haven’t commented but I have been under the weather a bit. Hope all is well with you and Karyn.
@@ToyManTelevision Thanks. I’m going much better. Back to model railroads, I need to figure out how to wire the individual modules and then connect them. On the top I want to do a double dog bone. That’s where I am mentally. I greatly appreciate your videos and am in awe of your skills and the skills. Of your friends. The scenery is so realistic. You feel you are there watching the trains from a distance. Take care.
Neet plan just to much for my brain to figure out. Would love to see how you did the switching to get the cars were they needed to go. GOD BLESS 🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕
This might be an interesting puzzle, but you do not provide enough information to really solve it. For example, you say at 8:48 there is just enough space for one car and the switching engine, but then only say there are "very long run around tracks". But "very long" is ambiguous. Does "very long" mean 5 cars? 10 cars? 30 cars? X cars? That can matter in planning. What is the distance between the switches from the water tanker stub to the branch line? How many cars, if any can fit between those switches? There are other ambiguities. Such as the passenger train coming through every 15 minutes ... does that mean into the Salt Air pavilion and then 15 minutes later, back again. Or does it mean every 15 minutes a train comes *into* the Salt Air pavilion, which means a shorter period of free right of way time on the through track as passenger trains will move back again. Hope this helps.

Good video. New subscriber.
There is an old saltair alco s6 sitting disused in Fillmore ca in the former Fillmore and western yard. It’s a cool paint scheme!
