I have not worked in my Studio since losing my daughter but I believe my brain and heart are feeling slightly better and I know that it will help me take my mind off things so I am making an effort to try and get creative. WOW Brittany so glad you shared that you got the color flex paint 2/22. My grandfather bought them and gave to me for Christmas. Trying to be nice but it’s not right that when I informed AE they said so sorry. Wasn’t like I received and put on a shelf, I’ve been constantly in the hospital since 10/21 fighting for my life. You are their influencer so I am sure the rules apply differently to you. Very disappointed because I enjoyed recreating your designs and that’s why I wanted the color flex. Very bad business when greed supersedes doing the right thing. Oh and no where does it state it has be used in 6/9m. I know AE has had many fall outs with other influencers and that why they don’t endorse their products. Human kind needs to do better. I know you have nothing to do with this personally but I only used color flex because of you.
Hi Stephanie I’m sorry I am a little confused…your paints were purchased in December and you had an order issue? I actually have colorflex paints from their debut last summer I believe. Maybe a little before that, that I use quite often. I would absolutely in no way endorse a product that I did not like or had issues with…or of course share my struggles with followers as I always do. Paint can be a pretty finicky thing to keep as far as shelf life. I am honestly not 100% on the shelf life of these. If I ever have a paint go slightly clumpy (COLORFLEX or acrylic) I will just add in a drip of acetone (I figured it would work since it does with nail polish) and it has worked well for me but only on a rare occasion do I need to do that. You do have to give the paints a good shake before use to blend them up. If you can message me via Facebook or Instagram I’d be happy to hear more of the issue and see if we can’t get a resolution for you. Also, I’m so very sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you get to feeling well soon ❤
Beautiful 💜💜 I would have never put the color of the flowers with the colors of the glitter - they look beautiful together - I really need to think outside my box. Also, why didn’t you put the pin striping down and then the flowers so that you didn’t need to trim away the pin striping off the flowers?
Thank you so much! I put it over the vinyl because if it were under…the clear portion of the vinyl would have shown a dullness around the overlapping points unless you put a layer of epoxy in between. Putting it over top and trimming is just a little trick to avoid that extra layer of epoxy 😉
This is such a pretty tumbler!! I got the ColorFlex pastel paints. However when I went to use them, I couldn’t get them to mix. I open the lid and the paint is very clumpy and the seal that should have been on the bottle was in the lids. Yours seems to be fine.
I’m sorry to hear that! You do have to give them a pretty powerful shake. On occasion with any paints it’s a good idea to take a moment to just shake and put them away if they are sitting on the shelves. If you have had them less than 6 months I would ready out to artistry epoxy and see if they can be of assistance
@@brittanybarnesboutique I did reach out to them, basically said sorry and they will check into having the seal attached to the bottle instead of putting in the lid. I got them last year but they say sorry. The problem I have is I had only used 2 of them, they were never even opened. I should have looked closer at them when I got them. They were already like that and I should have checked them closer. They did suggest putting a little water in them too.
Oh gosh I am so sorry! I would never promote anything I wasn’t confident in. And I have not had these types of issues with my paint (other than just really having to shake them) however you are the second/ third that has had this same issue without resolution. I did part ways with artistry on the 31st…although I do love my paints, I will likely discontinue using them in my tutorials simply for the inconsistency that I have been told from this tutorial. I appreciate your comment. ❤

They are water based paints. I am not 100% if they have been used with crystalac. You are welcome to ask in our Facebook group :) we have a few crystalac users ❤

Are these paints acrylic? I looked on the website and it doesn’t say or I missed it. I use Crystalac and it doesn’t play well with acrylics.
