Oh how I miss the old Memorial Hall shows! My Mamaw used to take me when I was a kid. I’m a city over from Dayton. The Paynes Family music is what I grew UP on! I actually found this today as I woke up and had the song “Out of This World” in my head/heart/spirit! Thank you Paynes Family! I remember as a kid listening to The Paynes in the car all the time. Its safe to say they have had an impact on my ministry and music and the way I sing. Thanks for the great music and serving God and letting him lead you all these years.
Mark, Love it, love it, love it. The Paynes were real pioneers in Christian music. Mike came to the church I was pastor of in Wayesboro, VA in 1991 and he rocked the walls! God bless and keep them coming.
One of my all time favorite southern Gospel groups. I love all of you guys. I've been singing this and many other songs of your group since I was five years old and it has been one of my bucket list items to where I could leave this world in peace to meet the paynes. It is rare, but occasionally it does happen, they all sang together in Cincinnati about a year and 1/2 ago, Keith and Bill now live there, Mike's Family lives around Cleveland Ohio
I just saw your post,I sing and j can't find these type of songs anymore, I called Daywind they said you can't find them anymore.they have gone all modern music now, I like the old southern style.
U no I loved shaken my little money maker on the bar as a kid and all I had to do was give them lady's my puppy dog eyes and I could get what ever I wanted but to be honest i payed for everything myself as a kid off my own earned money since I could walk I hustled but dancing on bar paid me alot of money
